Bedford platforms 1a and 4 must not see many EMUs, or the track between 3 and 4.

Given all EMUs serving Bedford are (for now) at least 8 car in length, I think they'll be too long for 1A.

Platform 4 and the Up Fast Line are not electrified.

Does anything electric use the EMT platforms at St Pancras? Or are there occasional Thameslink trains in there? Corby 387s will soon change this anyway

Occasional use of platform 1 at St Pancras by 700s when the core is closed for engineering. I've never seen them use other platforms in the high level.

At some point during the rebuild (pre-Eurostar transfer/HS1 I believe), Thameslink ran a limited service to St Pancras high level using 319s and the hired Moorgate 317s... but used what are now the South Eastern platforms.

Thameslink operated as two separate north and south sections between Sept 2004 and March 2005 while the box for the new low level station was built around the closed line. As you suggest, this was well before the HS1 services started, in November 2007.
