As the title says, are there electrified lines where only diesel trains run?

My suggestions are the York avoiding lines and the freight lines south of Doncaster.

Are these correct? Any others?

I imagine that there are also specific platforms that are electrified but are only served by diesels - bay platforms in particular at places like Carlisle.

I don't think Hazel Grove sees (m)any electric services nowadays.

One per day only I think in either morning or evening peak.

Ordsall Chord South to West will be diesel only for a while.

For the time being, blockade notwithstanding, I don't think there's any passenger services to or from Seven Sisters that pass through Tottenham South

The lengthy sectiom of dead end wires on the curve between Farington Jn and Lostock Hall Jn (for loco changes) see virtually no use. As does the similar overrun on the Barrow route at Carnforth via the Goods Loop (and the part wired Up platform at Carnforth itself).

Lymington branch often sees a dmu subbing for an emu.

The Lymington branch doesn't really meet the criteria of this thread as it has regular electric services on weekends. Having said that, all the weekday services are booked for a DMU.

Although not lines as such; platform 1 and platforms 5 to 12 at Newcastle are electrified, but never used by electric trains

When the WCML electrification was done starting in the North-West, there was a very considerable amount of wiring that never saw use. Someone once calculated that the amount of wire in Basford Hall yard, where no train locos entered and all the shunting was done by diesel shunters, was sufficient to wire from Crewe to Kidsgrove. The same was true of Speke Junction, Edge Hill, and other yards. Junctions with diesel lines had enormous run-offs compared to nowadays. Elements of all this are still there.

A lot of the platforms at Paddington were wired when the Heathrow Express started but never used by electric services until now; likewise all four tracks were done on the GW main line but for the first 10 years only the Heathrow services on the Mains were electric, and wiring on the Reliefs was unused

This is clearly a reference to the original 1960s electrification south from Liverpool and Manchester. By the time Weaver Junction to Glasgow was done in the 1970s they'd discovered rationalisation. Track layouts were simplified and only necessary bits were wired.

Reading West Curve will be a candidate when energised (January?) - the 'Electric Spine' is a distant memory now. Maybe some ECS workings to and from the depot however?

Doesn't the ECS for the morning Birmingham International-Euston (c. 0740?) go that way?

On the Woodhead electrification, I wonder if the wires up to the Goods shed entrance at Broadbottom ever saw use (where an overhead mast can still be seen in situ)?

There is a 10 week trail now for a Friday only 00:10 Edb-Glq and 01:10 Glq-Edb service using 380s, in fact a 380 ran into queen street last friday on a test service I believe.

The platform at Newcraighall sees no booked electric services, the through road into millerhill yard may see occasional use by electric traction just now but when the depot is built the 385s will live there.

I thought that, before the blockades, there was a solitary parliamentary going that way. I have also seen it used as an emergency turnback and there was a suggestion that some additional services could be turned there on a regular basis. I don't know of that is just on hold for the duration of the GOBLIN works or if the idea has been dropped.

In years gone by, occasional East Coast services calling at Peterborough were booked via the Down Slow/Stamford to be overtaken. Don't think it has anything booked at the moment.

Indeed they were. Although the ones I saw do it were HSTs.

Is it just them services or are the 380s being used throughout the day ?
