Those that do will just add more traffic, bigger delays in Warrington at the various major junctions and that is not forgetting when the MSC bridges get opened to let a ship throught too! Eventually they will use the "new" bridge!Not to mention that it will also lead to a big increase in traffic through Warrington, especially via Daresbury and Great Sankey by motorists to avoid the tolls.
(When "new" bridge opens, the Jubilee bridge will be closed for about 12 mths to play catch up on repairs along with decreasing the road lanes to one in each direction!)
As for the taxi drivers in the borough, I think that is fair to be honest but they can register for reduce charges in various ways with as I understand period passes too. So it wont be £2.00 each way although I suspect taxi drivers will use that as an excuse to make more money!
