I heard on the news that there's going to be a general selection.

Will Jeremy Corbyn be able to get any seats in it?
That reminds me actually, I still have a Cadbury Selection Box I was given for Christmas.

I just Googled it and a couple of things said that it was someone trying to say hello from heaven.
Of course there may be a more scientific reason...
Today I learned: There is a TV show called, um...Cupcake Wars.
I can't see too many people getting hurt in that. Unless they gluten intolerant of course.
Yes, I do go there often to check for fresh graves. He was wearing a red waistcoat and green underpants and the Batmobile was parked nearby. It's obviously a place you go often but how do you know he was called Robin?
I think that may answers your question concerning fresh graves...Yes, I do go there often to check for fresh graves. He was wearing a red waistcoat and green underpants and the Batmobile was parked nearby.
Today as I was walking past the local graveyard (just window shopping) I was followed by a robin. Does anyone know why it would do that?
Thinking about it they're very friendly little birds. If I'm working outside in winter I've often had a robin watching me and staying generally nearby while I work. I've always assumed that they'd been hoping for a bit of food perhaps, but they're certainly quite happy to be around humans.
They're just hoping you'll drop dead so they can feast on your eyeballs. That's why they're called robins it's short for robbing bastered*
*Sorry, if I spell it correctly it gets censored, I've no idea why. Other interesting birds are:
Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)
Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis)
Booby (Sula sula)
tits like coconuts!
Nothing. Didn't say anything.
sparrows prefer breadcrumbs!
What was wrong? It reminded me of the short story "Monkey and Pru and Sal" by Keith Roberts
That was what Mrs Trellis spotted with her new binoculars... she also noted that sparrows prefer breadcrumbs!
Our local woodpigeons are looking rather plump these days. Every time I watch an episode of Masterchef, I'm very tempted.
How would you eat one of them?
Blanched on a bed of rocket, with taragon jus maybe?
Like pocket for me.Ah, now. There's something I've always wondered - how does one pronounce rocket? Like pocket, or croquette?
Like pocket for me.
