I noticed one of the 18xxx (365?) Tridents has a large scar on its rear, painted over in a darker shade of red, and the rear route indicator is out of action on a few of them too.

yeah 18327 still has a broken back blind. Nobody ever notices so will take months for them to fix it lol. When an old Trident does the 3 in the evenings it usually shows up on the blinds as X3 for some reason lol.

Kendal have 16294, 17012/3/5-6, with 16393 and 14853 on conversion.
So yes they will ahve 7, but this will be covered by the better reliability. Last year saw a Trident covering Titans on several occasions due to failures.

Yeah no buses in London either. According to some predictions its going to snow like hell tonight as the weather moves up from down south. I'm in Newcastle on Wed so that should be interesting weather wise lol.

hopefully there is more snow! then i will be off sixth form again haha. it will mess stagecoach buses up again, but they soon sorted it out haha. 4 buses heading towards whitehaven at same time was pretty bad lol (2 31's, a 30 and 300).

Lancaster was the usual bad weather panic this morning with traffic much heavier earlier than normal, an accident didnt help much either.

Some weird allocations today, 21003 was on the 2/2a service all day while 18382 was on the 50 at about 12.20. it then went back to the depot. I got 47247 on the 4 service at about 12ish which is really odd. Just seen it on the 3.
They haven't changed the branding on the back of the Versa's yet to show new prices for saver tickets in Lancaster.

they need to get that advert off lillyhall's versa! and the route 2 branding which it hasnt ran since summer! i havnt seen any adverts for Day Rider Plus yet, or West Cumbria Day Rider as some drivers call it.
16733 has Workington Day Rider adverts i think. its advertising a £2.30 ticket, which is how much the Workington one now costs. the Whitehaven one is slightly cheaper.

also, 33169 could be running the services in Preston that 30456 was brought out of reserve for! probably to keep things low floor!

Lancaster arent the quickest at changing the external saver ticket adverts - buses used to go around for months with the 'old' fares stickers in the windows.

not stagecoach, but the replacement bus J B Pickthall got in service to replace the broken down Leyland National has now broken down! their Leyland National has a snapped halfshaft or something, and an oil pipe exploded on their alexander bodied scania today!!! not looking good for them! the scania will get repaired at some point in near future, probably as soon as spare parts arrive it will get repaired. until then, coaches will probably be used on the work he used the national and scania on.

The First Scania is Due to Arrive at Preston On Friday! not the 1st Of March. So Expect them Olympians at Barrow Soon.

Yes, the first one IS due on Friday and will be used for driver familiarisation. The rest will be delivered during February and they will not go onto the X2 service until Sunday 1st March. All bar the first one [VLT255] will have 09 registrations, so they cannot be put into service before that.

i'm assuming the 4 ADL darts have whitehaven day rider stickers on them, seen as though they are mainly whitehaven based (2 and 31A, with one or two appearing on 31).
some buses still have the really old day rider adverts on! mostly 709d's! one is advertising WC Day Rider Plus for £3.75! and i think i seen a workington day rider sticker for £1.85! its about time they all got sorted out and updated!
