Up in the OP's area of the country, there's Park between Man Vic and Ashton and Pendleton between Salford Crescent and Swinton. I believe the old Chorley ROF Halt survived in considerable condition until it was razed for redevelopment around Buckshaw. Others that come to mind are Lowton St Mary between Golbourne and the junctions to take you either way on Chat Moss and rather a long way away, Castlethorpe between Wolverton and Roade on the WCML.

There's also Bishopstone Beach and the old Polegate down in the neck of the woods too isn't there?

Miles Platting too.

I agree Castlethorpe- three of the original four platforms survive.
The platforms at Roade were demolished long ago although the former ticket office was still standing when I last saw it a about a year ago.
There are some remnants of the platforms at Polegate (old station) and one trackless platform at Bishopstone Beach Halt.

Buckshaw Parkway is on the old Euxton ROF site so is basically a reopening. I still think it was a real shame it was not refurbished or built in the old style for posterity rather than just being an identikit modern station.

Beeston Castle & Tarporley still has its platforms (and operational signal box).
Parkside is still discernible (with the Huskisson memorial).
You can still just make out the through platform edge of Manchester Exchange, though it has been much altered recently for electrification.
The platforms at Hope Exchange (Wrexham-Bidston line, where the Chester-Mold line passed underneath) are still there.

There was -- is it still there? -- a rather low platform on the westbound North London Line near Kensal Rise station, which I believe was the original site of the station.

There's also what's left of Bishopsgate, just outside Liverpool Street. I have a vague memory that the platforms here were used in an emergency a few years back, as there still are stairs up to the street.

Calvert on the old GCR still has its island platform with track on both sides used by the binliner trains.
Waddesden still has its down platform but under vegetation. Up platform is demolished, however the single track runs on the up side.

The old Epsom Town station is still there, along with the remains of at least the down side platform.

Eltham Park between Eltham and Falconwood. There are also a few remains of the original New Beckenham station on the country side of the existing station, mainly where the overbridge is.

You are forgetting Eltham Well Hall, the other side of Well Hall Road from Eltham Station which replaced both it and Eltham Park. It was the scene of a train crash in the early 1970s, and had a bus station attached in which I spent a sizeable portion of my youth when not at school.

The Catford Loop platforms at Loughborough Junction - stretching a point, as other platforms are still open.

BTW Lullingstone never opened but DID appear in the SR timetable for a year or so around 1939 - years since I saw it, can't remember if actual times were shown.

I believe the original Stevenage station had 4 platforms before it was moved 73 chains south in 1973. Queensbury had six platforms but of course closed to passengers in 1955.

Eltham Well Hall was completely demolished immediately after the opening of the present Eltham station. The extension of the A2 road was built through the site of it.

This is probably stretching the definition past breaking point, but how Pilning? The down platform is inaccessible and disused following the removal of the footbridge for electrification work and it will not be replaced. Trains still call at the up platform.

Are the platforms still there at Smethwick West
They were when I went through there last summer.

Horfield northbound platform is still in situ, but Filton bank is being knocked about quite a bit at the moment, so may not be there for much longer.

Also down my way, the northbound platform at Limpley Stoke is still there too.

Knowle Asylum Halt on the Fareham to Eastleigh line. A relatively short platform but still there under all the undergrowth.

Is there much left of Tiverton Junction? I went through it last year on a trip to Paignton but we went through at too high a speed to check. I remember visiting it back in the mid 1980s when it was pretty much as it was shortly before closure.

Haven't got my map handy, but there at least 2 between Welshpool and Newtown, and another 3 or 4 between Newtown and Machynlleth.
