Gameplay

The Aim of the game is to travel around the country using public transport in a pseudo-realistic fashion. To play, you must depart from the station or stop where the previous post arrived using a permitted timetabled public transport service. Having arrived at the destination, the minimum connection time for the station or stop must be allowed for. Where this is not published, a minimum interchange time is considered to be FIVE minutes.

We leave the tube station and walk to the adjacent bus stop, where we just have time to board the 1037 London General service 299 to Muswell Hill (Muswell Hill Broadway) that arrives there at 1110 on Thursday morning.

Next from the South Arm, we board the 1116 Metroline service 43 to London Bridge Bus Station, arriving at 1241 on Thursday afternoon.

Heading back underground, we board the 1250 Jubilee Line service to Canning Town, arriving there at 1301 on Thursday afternoon.

We next board the 1308 Tower Transit service 69 to Leyton Station, arriving at 1343 on Thursday afternoon.

Entering the station, we then board the 1351 Central Line service to Northolt, arriving there at 1443 on Thursday afternoon.

We make the 5 minute walk to Hownslow Central Underground station, and find ourselves just in time for the 15:52 LUL Piccadilly line service to Oakwood arriving there at 17:08 Thursday Afternoon.

Leaving the station, we walk to the adjacent bus stop and we next board the 1715 Metroline service 307 to Brimsdown station that arrives there at 1759 on Thursday afternoon.

We then board the 1820 London General service 191 to Ponders End (Tesco), arriving there at 1851 on Thursday evening.

Walk to Southbury Station and get the 19:19 London Overground service to Stoke Newington, arriving at 19:31 Thursday.

We next board the 1943 LO service to Enfield Town that arrives at 2003 on Thursday evening.

We make the 0.5 mile transfer to Enfield Chase, taking our time to allow the minimum interchange time of 25 minutes.

Having just missed the Stevenage train by 3 minutes, we board the 20:40 Great Northern service to Hertford North arriving there at 20:58 Thursday Evening.

Spurred on by the sense of socialist triumph brought on by this profoundly un-gentrified part of East London; we trudge onwards against a bone-rattling easterly wind from the very steppes of Siberia (I knew my English A-level would come in useful someday). Arriving at New City Road/Boundary Road (East Ham); we see a Stagecoach London bus guised as the 104; Departing at 00:33; we arrive at Stratford Bus Station at 00:50 on this Friday morning

Next we join the 0234 Stagecoach London route N15 to Aldwych/Somerset House arriving at 0340 on Friday morning.

We hop over onto another London Night bus, this time the N343 in the direction of New Cross / Jerningham Road. This bus departs from the same stop we arrived at, yet the other side of the road, at 03:53 and takes 32 minutes to drive us to Peckham Rye station where we're dropped off at 04:25 on Friday morning.

We enter the station and board the 0504 Thameslink service to London Blackfriars that arrives there at 0517 on Friday morning.

We decide to visit the coast and board the 0700 SN service to Bognor Regis which arrives at 0758 on Friday morning.

We then get the 08:13 Southern service to Brighton, arriving at 09:08 Friday.

We keep the coastal region in mind and board the 0932 SN service to Hastings that arrives at 1035 on Friday morning.

We desert the coast on the 10:50 Southeastern service, deciding to go from Geography to History by getting off at Battle at 11:07 on Friday, after being excited by this at St Leonards Warrior Square.
