You could have just used the ones I attached a few posts ago. Just click on them and save the image, which you can then print out.
The advantage of having a completely blank one, rather than one that you have to fill in online, is that you can print in advance without knowing the date of travel and departure station.

Some people would prefer to be able to type the info in and then print that off though. My handwriting can be pretty terrible at times so it's easier for me to type in the info and just print it off.

You can still change the date on the online one you'd just need to go to the link and re-input the data again.

There sometimes seems to be somebody handing out free copies of the Yorkshire Evening Post at the Albion Street entrance to the Trinity centre in the evening.

The main difference this time as opposed to Old Northern is that you don't have to register on the website (although you do have to put the same details on the paper form). Perhaps they found that a lot of people were just registering for the offer and not doing anything else on the site.

Of course, libraries will make a charge ( 10 p sheet ) ; however many libraries are closed or reducing hours here in Lancs due to cutbacks.

Also, as an aside and off-topic, there is an article in today's Daily Mail about exorbitant cost of printer ink and the fact that only certain brands workwith that manufactures ink .

Sad but understandable to see BA going this way.....this is the price we have had to pay for the expansion of Air Travel.

Personally I preferred it when there was an all-in price not the seat plus numerous extras.

The staff I'm sure will be relieved as the near 100% take up will reduce dramatically when people have to pay for it - if Flybe is anything to go by.

I noticed that you can only purchase tickets for the Northern deal up-to 3 days in advance of travel.

I hope Middlesbrough ticket office will be open to purchase a weekend ticket (hopefully grabbing some vouchers this weekend) before I head towards the Whitby line

Yes. From the form:

Those dates quoted are for when you took/planned to take a "qualifying flight" from Edinburgh to London.

The train tickets are
•Valid for travel from 06/10/16 to 16/12/16 inclusive

It doesn't necessarily give everyone the same offer though - other people got 30% off East Coast, some got nothing at all.


I've just checked it today and it's offering me 40% off East Coast advance tickets. It's their Flash Friday offer, which suggests it could be available to everyone.

Downhill unfortunately, most of the features that differentiated them from Easyjet and Flybe on Domestic Routes are vanishing rapidly.

On the e-mail I received it claimed the reason for the change is down to customers requesting a wider choice - really ???

Given the choice between free catering/ drinks and a wider selection I wonder what most people would elect to sample. Perhaps they should run them side by side.

As I mentioned before the real winners will be the "trolley dolly's"

Although from what it sounds like it is £14.50 single tickets so not that good for some day trippers (but good for those who are staying overnight where the period return is greater than £29)

Can the Virgin Red App codes be used through a desktop website? I find it very fiddly using a phone to book tickets.

SWT is extreme off peak only this time so not valid until the 2020 and towards London the last offer was valid on the 0641 from Exeter now its the 0824 and only from Yeovil on.
