Have just watched this interesting BR corporate video about the East Coast electrification called Corridor of Power. It was made in 1992 and shows some of the work undertaken.
Here’s another video on the same theme called Up & Running. Whilst it shares some clips with the previous video there are some nice interior shots of the Mk4 coaches.

Fabulous stuff, @Ashley Hill and I'd forgotten the Mk4s were introduced with BT pay-card phones. I sneaked a look inside a Mk4 trailer first, at Leeds, back in 1989 and I was intrigued at those saloon tinted screens.

The partition screens on the Mk3/4 done a good job of breaking up a long carriage. It was a shame they were later removed on HSTs and would help aesthetically on IETs.

Welcome to Al's Trainspotting HD this channel focuses on Train Spotting mainly in the South West of the UK. I don't think I’ll be posting often but when I get some decent train footage then it might very well be uploaded. I do also upload aircraft videos aswell so there is aviation on this...

My take on a 455 farewell tribute, I did the same sort of thing for the southern units...
4:37 has a bit of motor noise as the units depart. Hope clear enough despite the downpour.
