Highlights from my visit to the North Norfolk Railway "50th Finale Gala" event on Saturday 1st November 2025. Very well attended with lots of steam and diesel action.

Featured are visiting locos BR Deltic D9000 'Royal Scots Grey' and BR Class 7 4-6-2 70000 'Britannia', plus resident LMS 7F 2-8-0 13809, Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0 No 18, and Class 31 D5631 - all hauling a variety of heritage passenger rolling stock. Also a ride up the steep gradient towards Kelling Heath Halt behind the LMS 7F 2-8-0. Enjoy!

My video on the closure of Ravensthorpe station. This time produced with the assistance of a friend who helped edit and also shot some of the footage.

First day of GWR 387 on seafords.

Not sure what caused the emergency brake, looks like an AWS trip based on the track equipment.

A new video presents a very rare opportunity to watch a movement across the entire west coast main line formation just south of Willesden Junction:

I assume the North London Line was closed somewhere between Acton Wells Junction and Camden Road.

Mostly Glasgow-ish. Mostly.
Nice bit of nostalgia from September 1988. Thames TV's Another Side of London captured the dying days of Clapham Junction A signal box which would close a year or two later.

Another bunch of idiots on the railway - even the person videoing. Well over the yellow line and no respect for safety, either party

If you cannot view the above link, it depicts a Youtuber close to the edge of the platform videoing a 377 unit, while a teenager puts his body parts over the edge in front of an incoming train.

Hello Forum,

I'm not going to pretend I know anywhere near as much as you about trains, however I have been lucky to have been on some amazing train journeys around the world.

This is my channel. https://www.youtube.com/@traveltrains

The main motivation of my channel is to "Do something amazing!" Just go for it!

All the best.

James, Warks.

It's not every day you get to ride on a freight train... For an extra £10, I got to ride to ride on this from Peterborough to Orton Mere, and then up the Fletton branch.
