What???? Ok 58's I can understand but 56's?????? They are so awesome to drive, a proper interested drivers engine. Trying to spool up that massive turbo & combine with brake release.....oh happy days. Then theres the more clag than a kettle element, followed shortly by the scream of a proper loco working, the noise that you just know wakes up whole neighbourhoods as you pass them by. Watching as car alarms get set off by the power at your fingertips, watching people & animals flee the area as the turbo belches flames out of the exhausts....................There is nothing better for a driver.

Oh & 60's do all that but in a more mundane way.

Both good proper UK loco's, do not disrespect them or I will send a fleet of 67;s around to where you live.

You said Units are s**** well a 323 is much more wurse then a normal unit!.

323s aren't too bad, they do the job and sound quite funny (bit like a Notworker IIRC). Haven't been on one though, so can't comment on the innards.

I'm not a fan of 323s. Not very comfortable, or nice to be in at all. They do make cool noises though lol
