Probably should have explained that a bit better. Basicallly the point I was making is that in the space of a few days, Network Rail have managed to lease the land off the local council, plan a temporary station and actually start at the site. Maybe some sort of H+S has been done, but I'm guessing either it has taken a lot more staff to do it in such a short space of time or they haven't done it to great detail as they usually would. If you think of how long a H+S desk report and site visit and the clearance they would have to get, it is quite remarkable that it has all been done in such a short space of time.

I think its pretty impressive that a station literally got thrown up like this. Usually it takes years of thinking/planning etc urg

There's too much thinking/planning goes on sometimes, which adds huge cost. Like the modular electrification train, why not a modular station train, where factory built platforms can be craned off to a pre-prepared location as required in days? I believe this sort of thing was done in steam days, for example the GWR pagoda stations...
