There are two 150's at Bletchley yes, but I think that is due to re-diagramming of 153's on the chase line to give extra capacity. Someone in the know may be able to confirm that.

On the station painting front, both Longbridge and Selly Oak are being painted. However both are being painted in the old London Midland Green which is quite puzzling. Anyone any idea why wasting time on that.

Where is the 3rd 150 though? hummm

University got a green repaint on the handrails of the bridge the other week too. Perhaps [speculation time] with University, they're using the available old paint while waiting for the new new entrance to be built!

It should be at Tyseley. As a spare.

Longbridge is also having a new new entrance, so perhaps TfWM are waiting for the completion of that.

It will be 2/3 years before the new University station building is complete so no reason to repaint in old colours

The 3rd 150 is used on the Birmingham to Worcester/Hereford circuit although not everyday due to maintenance requirements. That's why 170's/172's appear.

I wonder how may Metro's they had to remove from under the seats - all the units I travelled on this weekend felt like they'd replaced the cushions with them!

Nuneaton has not yet been *fully* repainted - work has been ongoing yesterday to paint the wrought-iron canopy braces in lime green.

And the front doors have had a few coats of paint.

Still not a fan of the lighter green squares on some of the doors.

170634 also now tangoed, and already with parts of the cabside WMR logo peeled off, as seen at New Street just now.
