Purple, Orange and Bronze aren't my colours! I find the colour change on the car to be a bit clumsy. It is certainly striking and quite different to other liveries. As they say, each to their own!

Then its just 376
Only for a couple more hours. 376 swapped diagrams earlier to get it in tonight. If anyone wants a final pic of an LM 350/3 it's currently working 16:47 Milton Keynes to Euston then Will work 18:13 Euston to Northampton then head in for rebranding.

Saw a few 350/2s in the interim livery as I passed Bletchley CS earlier. With the faded brand sticker they look absolutely awful. A thoroughly cheap and nasty job.

323206 recently put into wm orange has had quite a bad graffiti attack on the centre car. Saw it earlier at new street.

Not particularly livery related but not sure warrants a new thread, 350245, heads in tonight for an overhaul which will also include the mods required for 110mph running.

There is one running round with 172338 on one of the carriage ends, however the internal numbers suggest its 172333

Edit: both ends have 172338, one end 333 and the other 338 internally
Not entirely surprising - 172333 & 172338 swapped their 503xx vehicles after they both suffered engine fires. Tyseley Depot cobbled 1 good unit out of 2 bad ones; I suspect that until they go in for a full overhaul, they'll reain misformed. Same for the 350/2s involved in the Watford Landslip.

Slightly related to the livery discussion: the 2 centre coaches from 350246 (which have recently been long-term Tyseley residents) appear to have moved back to Northampton King's Heath.

And speaking of Northampton King's Heath, the Open Day there today showed 350258 in the "outgoing" LNWR livery (along with 263, which has had it for a wee bit longer).

172341 now purple as well.

With regard to stations, some confusion I think. Perry Barr and Hamstead have yellow handrails throughout whereas Tame Bridge Parkway has orange. Very puzzling.

I think you've forgotten about Penkridge, which, despite being a station served entirely by LNR services, has WMR posters (and I assume will be painted in WMR colours, though I haven't been there for a few months so I wouldn't know if it's recently been done).

So I have; though AFAIK, it's painted in LMS Blood & Custard, with LM signage.

University - that's planned to be comprehensively rebuilt in advance of the 2022 Commonwealth Games
Are there plans for events at the UoB? I'm not surprised that it's been recommended University is rebuilt. It's had a stupendous growth in passengers over the past decade or so, and despite some fairly extensive upgrades back around 5 years ago to expand the platform area, it still gets dangerously overcrowded at peak times, with people literally almost falling off the platform. The platforms need to be widened at the very least, and if the new CrossCity stock is to be longer than the current longest trains - doubled up 323s - then a platform extension should surely be considered (to the south makes most sense).

I believe there's an article about it in Modern Railways (the July issue, with a feature on the Cross-City line & TfWM's plans); UoB's hosting the Squash & Hockey events. The new station would feature a much larger concourse, with greatly improved access/egress to both the QE Hospital & UoB.
The image attached is from the article in question; the larger concourse would be on the western (I.e. Hospital) side of the railway. E0A7DF4A-C001-4CD9-B3A2-AB4100134D84.png
