To correct an earlier posting....Coventry Arena is now orange/grey and white. Apart from the mesh fencing which is still in LM black....that’d be a nightmare to paint I would imagine!

I think that may stay as black...otherwise people may confuse the Arena station with B&Q or sumat like that

Looks like the same seats the 350s have in first but with leather covers as far as I can tell.
They're the same Compins seats used in Electrostars... in standard, with some being sprung and (in the case of the 375/3, /6 and possible /7) better than the first class seats in those subclasses.

To be fair also in First on those units :)

I find the Grammer E3000 a nicer seat, hence why I prefer Class 350 standard, also the pitch in Class 350 First is rather poor.

Painters have now started work on Bescot Stadium. Wonder what colour the handrails will be, given that Tame Bridge is different colour to both Perry Barr and Hamstead

Bescot complete as of today. In this weeks handrail lottery the result is ... Orange. We will see what happens with Walsall.

I hope they don’t give the 139 a new livery. I think it’ll look awful in orange, like a moving pudding on rails.

The 139s will almost certainly have the new livery but will be the last to be done as there will be no templates for a class of 2. The question is will they have to go away one at a time or will someone be sent out to Stourbridge to do the work on site?

Tamworth High Level appears to have received the new LNWR two-tone green.
(Update: so has the Low Level)

Nuneaton also appears to be "tango appled" - though my passing glance from a CrossCountry service makes me think it's only part done. No lime green lampposts, for one thing.

Does anyone know why none of the 350/1s are getting put into the full LNWR livery. Is it due to the 350/2s getting put into the temporary LNWR Livery or that they aren’t suit for refurbishment yet. Also @59CosG95 could we have an updated list

I believe the 350/1s need major corrosion repair work before they get repainted - AFAIK the final LNWR interior hasn't yet been decided upon, so I think work on the 350s may be taking a back seat until that's sorted.
The delays with the 230s may also be a factor.

List-wise, I try and do one once a month - 14th of November's gonna be the next big update. The current (edited) list can be found on Page 36.

323221_Aston_021118.JPG 323221 has been tangoed. It retains all its BTP stuff. The middle car however retains its grey doors.

Why has been a sudden holdback on the 350/2s and why are no 172/2s getting out into the WMR livery

Here is a guide to the difference in liveries on WMR
Class 170 and 323 are getting the Interim Livery (orange)

172 339 is in the ONLY WMR prototypical livery (I’d go and see this soon as this will be the last to be put into the final livery. (Purple)

Class 172/0, 172/2, 139/1, 196/0, 196/2 and 730/0 will be getting the FULL WMR livery (Purple and Orange)

Here is a guide to the different liveries on LNWR

350/1, 350/3, 319, 730/1 and 730/2 will be getting the full livery. (Revises with First class stripe)

350/2 are getting a interim livery
