I was on it (The Pennine Rambler) and have a very similar photo taken from a spell of window-hanging. Think I was further back on the 13 coach rake, will have to dig the slides out of the loft!

Yes did that in 1980, the banker was 37096 banking 45104.

My first run was in February 1987 - train engine was a rather dull 47 589 banked by 37 135/257. All the more atmospheric as I had the rear coach all to myself fo the entire journey. It was a BSO with the guards area between the passenger saloon and the rest of the train and was off the end of most platforms so the guard was using the other one. Switched the lights off on departure from Temple Meads and was then undisturbed till Carstairs.

I thought that you would find gratuitous diesel under the (Dr Beeching) wires quite deplorable!

The second one was 13001 but I don't know the date of that one.
