Whos your favourite comedian?

In my view, there's only 2 comedy acts that I class as all-time classic best, & that's Morcambe & Wise, & Tommy Cooper. Simply the best!

In my view, there's only 2 comedy acts that I class as all-time classic best, & that's Morcambe & Wise, & Tommy Cooper. Simply the best!

I feel that comedians really try too hard and put a lot of swearing and really out there material which, although funny, is nothing in compare to the two acts mentioned previously. They kept comedy simple and silly, the best kind.

Lee Evans,Stephen Fry and Peter Kay. Dom Joly and the Fonejacker are pretty hilarious too. As for TV shows Family Guy,The Simpsons, The Inbetweeners, Fonejacker, Little Britain, Mr Bean and Trigger Happy TV are all funny too. It's extremely old but who can forget Laurel and Hardy

Kenneth Horne - brilliant,the best ever.
Only Fools & Horses - over-rated,unfunny and very very boring,without a doubt the worst ever.

I have to say the cast of "I'm sorry I haven't a Clue" were brilliant - I'm not so sure on the guest hosts following the death of Humph... Maybe a game of Mornington Cresent is in order

Bill Bailey is fantastic live - saw him at Eden last year

QI is fantastic - comedy and you learn things in the opposite vein I showed Look Around You to a Physicist - he was traumatised by the wrong science and threatened to walk out when the 9V battery was shown to be also connected to the mains.

I have the Audio CD "Humph in Wonderland",the teams take on Alice in Wonderland.Classic stuff.Humph,Sandi Toksvig, Tim-Brooke Taylor, Graeme Garden, Barry Cryer,Andy Hamilton,Rob Brydon Jeremy Hardy Jack Dee,and Collin Sell entertain the listener.
