Morning all,
Hoping you guys can help with expanding the info I already have.
Whitby station has had a variety of traction over the years. The mainstay of the passenger services under BR were cl.101s, 142s, 143s, 144s (?) and in more modern times I've seen cl.156s but maybe others?
If anyone can help with updating the list below with approx. years, types of services and liveries I'd be grateful.
DMU:
Class 101.
Class 104 (?).
Class 105 (1975)
Class 108.
Class 142.
Class 143.
Class 144 (?)
Class 150 (I think).
Class 153.
Class 156.
Class 158 (?).
Locos:
Class 43 (HST) on a rail tour.
Class 40 (Railtour)
Class 55 (Railtour)
Class 66 (Engineers)
Class 70 (2020 on a Engineers trains).
Class 25 (NYMR).
Class 20 (NYMR).
Class 37 (NYMR & BR Thornaby locos on freight in the early 80s)
Class 31 (NYMR & Charters)
Many thanks in advance
