Are you sure? I have yesterdays (Sat) in my hand and it quite clearly says 40p on the front.

Mine says 30p. Maybe they're testing a price increase in one area to see the response. I'm sure other papers have done that before.

I expect a lot of people don't realise how many regional variations there can be, which can include stories, adverts, special offers and - presumably - cover prices.

A day later than promised but the weekday one we are selling is 20p which is a high street shop in outer suburban London
