I'm looking to move withing walking distance to a station with fast routes to London Victoria, London Bridge and Guildford via Clapham. East Croydon seems the only place with those links. Are there any other station in London with those criteria.

What constitutes "fast"? How close to Central London do you want to be?![]()
You wont get fast trains, but I suggest Crystal Palace/Gypsy Hill, Dulwich area, although you'll only be able to get stopping trains, they should be able to get to the London terminals and Croydon town Centre in around 20 mins.
I wont be able to get to Clapham Junc direct though? I dont mind staying in Croydon, just wondering what other options are available.
If we're going to go down the "slightly out of London" route... Redhill? Headline times to London Bridge and Victoria are under 30mins, plus you have services to Reading via Guildford, taking 30-40mins or so. There are nice parts and nasty parts of town, like a lot of places, but you'd probably find somewhere which was perfectly acceptable!
A man who is sick of Croydon is sick of life itself - I may have misquoted that, nice trams tho!
Interesting idea.
I want to have redundancy as well. East Croydon suffered quite badly due a landslide locking the tracks with no other route available for trains. Clapham Junction as two separate lines (SWT and Southern), so I could get to somewhere in London!

and what about living in Guildford?I grew up in Croydon...........Redhill is a much nicer townand what about living in Guildford?
The bits round the edge are much nicer, I'll give you that. Some of the estates and bits round the town centre are frankly unpleasant, but nothing to rival the dodgier bits of Croydon, of course. I know the area extremely well, so I could go into a lot of detail, but I feel it would be off topic!
Bromley North has a service to London Bridge/Charing Cross although this is often a shuttle to Grove Park.

3 stations
At the risk of hijacking the thread - wheres nicest place to live for an easy commute to Gatwick? Crawley/Redhill/Horley etc where is nicest?
Balham is surely the answer, loads of trains to victoria, northern line takes 15 mins to London Bridge, two stops to Clapham to change to Guildford. Its a really nice place, just moved in nearby.
