I think mine might be the Adelante...
If you've got 175 and 180s on there, should it not also include 220/221/222s as well?
Can you separate out 153, 155 and 156? Opinions on those vary hugely.
Also Class 253 and 254 DMUs.If you've got 175 and 180s on there, should it not also include 220/221/222s as well?
Only 10 poll options, maximum. If your favourite is one of those, just vote for it IMO.Can you separate out 153, 155 and 156? Opinions on those vary hugely.
There are only 10 options max. with the new polls, unfortunately.Voted Pacer, partly because nobody else has and partly because they're really not all that bad. Better than the road-going busses they were designed to compete with at least, although obviously (like those road-going busses) unsuitable for long distances. Great fun to go belting along the Hope Valley in a 142!
I would have voted 168 if it weren't lumped in with the 17xs...
Technically DEMUs.If you've got 175 and 180s on there, should it not also include 220/221/222s as well?
Technically DEMUs.![]()
but still DMUs though. The others might be D[M]MUs and D[H]MUs, they are all DMUs.Technically DEMUs.![]()
Also Class 253 and 254 DMUs.
They don't fit in the poll, and I'm happy to keep them separate.but still DMUs though. The others might be D[M]MUs and D[H]MUs, they are all DMUs.
and never was a DMU either, in that they couldn't/can't operate in Multiple, unlike most locos in fact. I don't understand why transmission type has sneaked in to this when the only criteria are power source (Diesel) and ability to couple up and be controlled from the front cab (Multiple.)Class 253 and 254 are now the class 43 which is a LOCOMOTIVE
