Waterloo has the most platforms and Clapham Junction is the busiest but which station is the tallest in the country ? St.Pancras maybe ?
Would the Shard count as a station building ?
Why would it? It is simply an office building plus ten residential apartments. Bt definition, a station building contains a station.Would the Shard count as a station building ?
If you leave London Bridge by that side you can see that The Shard is quite clearly adjacent to the station rather than part of it. From other angles it can give the impression of being part of the complex.Would the Shard count as a station building ?
Would the concourse building at Manchester Piccadilly be in with a shout I wonder? At a guess it's at least 105ft. according to wiki St Pancras tops out at 100ft.
That's the roof apex. The buildings are taller.Would the concourse building at Manchester Piccadilly be in with a shout I wonder? At a guess it's at least 105ft. according to wiki St Pancras tops out at 100ft.
Man Piccadilly tower actually has rail staff in it .XC or TPE are on the 9th floor .So unless there's a London station can counter that, maybe that's your winner.
I can think of 2 tracks that are.....No they aren't they are lower
Also the platforms are not at street level so are already a couple of floors up
