It's very catchy. The levels are excellent, the story is fun to play through and the enjoyment factor never seems to wear off!

F1 2010

I've been playing this quite a lot, but I'm finding the dry/wet races quite frustrating, currently I'm racing in Valencia, 1 second faster than anyone else for 23 laps in the dry, then it starts raining and suddenly I'm 2-3 seconds per lap slower (on a good lap) with intermediate or wet tyres.

I also find it quite annoying that when I spin at Monaco and wait for the nearby cars to pass it gives me a penalty for illegal blocking. It's also a little weird that you can leave the pitlane at Monaco before the first corner and not get penalised, that you can leave the pitlane before the first corner to go faster round the first corner via the pitlane exit and not get penalised, but go through the no-mans-land between the two and get a warning or penalty for cutting the corner.

Still get warnings on some circuits for cutting a corner or causing an accident when I have had an AI car punt me off the OUTSIDE of the corner in places.

The automatic pitlane limiter on anything but extreme mode is rubbish (I haven't actually been on extreme mode yet but with the option to turn it off not an option for hard mode, I can only assume it is an extreme mode option), being beaten out of the pits by all the AI cars who magically 'ghost' through you at random, is poor.

Annoyingly though, this game is still much better than Sony's attempt at F1 though.

GT5 is so much more playable

No room for error in F1, for me thats really difficult when you can't feel the grip, braking, acceleration etc

I actually didn't find it that bad, i can't see why it was getting such poor reviews, im guessing due to it not being Call of cash (CoD) or Halo.

I haven't played the orginals as was a massive fan of doom, but if you want a mindless shooter with crude humor etc they i seriously recommend it, but if your the sort who can be easily insulted by what is said i would aviod it.

But then the reviews for Brink were poor but after the inital problems it is a fantastic and fun game well on PC it is.

Yeah although I always went as team Sonic. Even today I always play as Sonic on Brawl because anyone else would mean cheating on my first love

I have played Fallout 3 about 4 times now. I now have the GOTYE and am about to play it all over again. Each time I discover something new and the ruins of Washington DC are just so addictive

Fallout 3 is fantastic and so are all the addons on it. The story is also fantastic, What is your fav weapon on it?

Also if you haven't i really recommend to download the High res texture packs as makes the game look miles better. I shall find the link for you later.

I have suddenly become EXTREMELY addicted to UK Truck Simulator.

I can't turn it off.

The minute I've written this post, I'll be back on, delivering cement to Cambridge.

I've saved £15,000 and bought my own truck, independent life here I come!

Cheers. I need to update my graphics card really. My computer is new with an Intel i7 processor, 6Gig of RAM but a crappy graphics card (Radion HD 5450). But the computer was free so I can't complain.
Fave weapon is the Mini gun or gatling laser

I keep preaching to people about Fallout - it's simply one of... no, scratch that - *the* best first person game I've ever played.

I'm working my way through Fallout: New Vegas just now, but I saw the GOTY edition of F3 in GAME yesterday - picked it up, but never made it to the checkout with it thinking - naah, I've played it twice already, but I'm thinking I might go back and buy it anyway.

It's just such a quality production.

Oblivion is another classic of classics which I have on my hard drive. The atmosphere is just so addictive - Don't know about you but I think I'm a Bethesda addict No one, but no one, does RPG's and 1st person shooters like Bethesda

They arn't bad at all, i have no idea why they get such a bad name for them. I started Oblivion and to be honest i hated it, same as on Fallout 3 but when you get past a certain point i loved it and couldn't stop playing the game.

One i have been playing a lot is Brink another one published by Bethesda and developed by Splash Damage (Behind RCTW Enemy Terroirty, Quake Wars).

Just to add my fav guns on F3 is the plasma rifle you get from the Andriod & the Alien Blaster. Also on Fallout New Vegas it has to be rather the 'Mystery Gun' (The Guardian angel's one), also some of the other rifles fully modded.

Also again on New Vegas you can get the Alien Blaster if you take the Wild Wasteland perk you find it near the top of the map, another nice thing with it you find 'Indie 4' quote.

Fallout is fantastic , as is oblivion. Only complaint is bugs, bugs, BUGS in PS3 version, though now thankfully patched. Wasn't too keen on the dead money add on, what are the others like?

I've started up building a route in Trainz Classics again a couple of days ago, having been ignoring it for a few weeks.

Been working on it for over a year now, and it's nowhere near done

It's not a very big route, only 5 or 6 baseboards, I'm just going into a lot of detail.

GT5 is so much more playable

I must admit I prefer the simulator type racing game, but I was a fan of GT since the first one (I recall spending my first wage packet on a PlayStation and that game), but I don't like GT5, too much loading for so little gain to begin with, I'm sure it's better when you get into it, but on earlier versions I didn't notice the loading as much as I did with GT5. I dislike games where you spend more time loading than playing.

F1 is an exact sport and I think if the game was less exact, not many would like it.

Tbh, I'm really only building it for myself, the furthest it's likely to go is to a couple of friends.
It uses a lot of TC3 content as well, so it won't work in older versions of Trainz. Not sure about newer ones with the S&C addon though.
