A few months ago my 'main' camera's battery conked out on me and it isn't really economical viable to replace it, nor could I be arsed. I've since been borrowing an older even less 'sophisticated' camera from my parents, and while the pics are technically of a lower quality I quite like how the camera gives them a 'warm' feel, almost like they've been done on film. Here's what I mean:
This is taken with the Vivitar that I don't use anymore.
And this with the Praktica which has lower resolution and less Megapixels.
The lighting conditions are similar, and the warmness of the second image is clear. Although it is technically false colour representation, I quite like it, and the camera is really growing on me. It takes some excellent Macro shots if you get the distance just right, too.
What do you guys make of it?
