The Metro paper is quite good for laughing at the **** they come up with, like the Daily Mail. Also for seeing what pathetic drivel they've written about John Smeaton and cancer. I don't see why he should get all the credit for something someone else did.

maybe because locos are banned from many lines due to their RA? Maybe because they are a lot easier to maintain, and actually, it's only in some countries that they use nearly all loco stock, which is ainly electric (The Neherlands comes to mind - great trains there! Double deck too )

No I'm not knocking the Lothian Alexander RH's, I love them, it's just that it makes no sense to put the Excels on the busiest route, and they can get a Double Decker on the route, so it's nothing to do with that.
Every day students clamber to get on the bus, I'm always squashed when everyone runs to the bus to get onto it. It's just not suitable.
Well, it was a nice place before the Conservatives came in. Even the Market Square isn't public land anymore, thats how they brought the Quad in. They didn't do anything with the Magistrates court, which has been empty for ages.
