I have emigrated out of the country but am flying back Sunday morning and am absolutely desperate to get one last day on 323s on the cross-city in, am I now safe?

Just look at the patterns people have posted and hopefully you can work out where the train will depart your preferred station.

Various disruptions today due to Aston signal failures and issues around Longbridge with points,
With notably the Bromsgrove to Lichfield diagram suspended best part of the day and following on Four oaks to Redditch terminating at Longbridge Various late running and points issues there also.

Next week up until Friday yes. Friday 27th is currently planned to be the last day according to multiple sources.

Service is a mess due to points at four oaks failing, points are now clipped but the bay is not accessible so presumably the service is going to be in a mess for the rest of the day now.216 + 221 - Four Oaks - Redditch
222 + 240 - Lichfield TV - Bromsgrove
At one point it looks like 216+221 went to Soho to get it out of the way but maybe the issue is sorted as its showing as booked to Four Oaks currently, we will see!
Also it looks like 222+240 had a little side trip to Birmingham International!

Bromsgrove to Lichfield
323240 323222 till 1305 stabling Four Oaks till 1430, then to Birmingham New Street.
However visiting Birmingham International for a hour, before resumption on the 2044 1623 Birmingham New Street to Bromsgrove then as booked.
Redditch to Four Oaks,
323216 323221 However 1245 to 1615 returning to Soho Lmd for some attention and light maintenance.
Yet another day for service disruption on cross city north.

They went back to Soho to clear new street due to disruption, they came back for 13:43 to Redditch as I photographed them arriving in empty.

No path in yet but I'm told 2 more 323s go off lease on Monday, 1 diagram for the final 5 days of operation in West Midlands.

Okay, thanks for the update, because I returned to Birmingham New Street and got and photographed them myself coming in at 1623, and looking at Website Old Rail Record, they actually did the 1343 to Redditch from Birmingham New Street reinstated, then formed the 1431 Redditch to Birmingham New Street, arriving at 1515, back to Soho for a second time, then resumption in full on 1615 to Redditch from Birmingham New Street.

It's not looking like it, #1123 above suggests, one diagram from the 23-27th and the farewell tour is over the weekend

So tomorrow is the last chance of seeing two 323's passing at Wylde Green at 13:02.
I'm disappointed that the last day of 323's in service will be Friday. I'm surprised too, as in the past the diagram allocations have only been in effect from a Monday. I wonder why nothing will be out next Saturday.

Presumably preparation for the tour on the Sunday. Then withdrawal. Staff farewell event being held on 4th October then off lease I think is the current plan.
As it stands tomorrow will be the last day to get a 323 down the Redditch branch too

First repaint isn't due out till 28th, They be coming out separately from what I can gather.

Hi, I’m going to Birmingham on 28th september and posts above suggest the 323s will already be gone. Any idea why? In the past diagrams have continued until Saturdays.
