Comparing to Kinch's skylink 25 plate ADLs, dare I say (obviously discounting RTCs) the Yutongs have been off of the road a fair amount less than them!

Good point.... the problem with red arrow is that their Flixbus operations seem to override the needs of red arrow (so 910 will appear on Flixbus routes first if there are any problems). Although 1 coach being off isn't the greatest of deals, I remember we were at a point where 1 or 2 Elites were out at once a couple of years back!

Quite sensibly - you can't run a Versa on a Flixbus run to London but it is perfectly within its capabilities to run an express to Nottingham (at least occasionally).

Seems like the E12s are gradually rolling out, 3205 is now tracking.
Saw it earlier on a 2, looks very smart. After the last few years of making do and mend with loan vehicles and so on it is nice to see some brand new buses other than on the Skylink again.

Also not sure how true it is. The Red Arrow coaches have at least one out of service every day whereas it is far from irregular for all 18 of the 25 reg E200MMCs to be in service at Kinch. Whilst there is the occasional day like today where an older spare is required on Skylink it is far more common for 346 and 347 to be required on other services.

One or two Elites out in service, I meant (apologies for any misunderstanding).
Hence why they foresaw this and ordered 10 branded vehicles and a generic black spare for a route with a PVR of 9!
If anything, it would be a good thing for those vehicles to stretch their legs every once in a while!

Driving past the Notts & Derby depot this evening there looked like an electric demonstrator in the yard. Is that right? I couldn't tell which make it was. Are Trent/Notts & Derby trialling it, or is it just passing through?

I wasn’t suggesting that the GT12s were unreliable or performing differently to expected but simply stating the belief that they were performing better than the 2025 E200MMCs didn’t appear to be true. Given the Red Arrow uses a completely different type of vehicle than the other services operated out of Derby it makes sense to have a dedicated spare in a way that rarely makes sense on other routes but at the same time the expectation on other routes is that generic spares will be used frequently so to see an unbranded vehicle on other routes should not be a sign that that routes vehicles are underperforming.
Given the Skylink has a PVR of 16 compared to Red Arrow’s 9 the expectation would be for approximately 1.8 buses to be off the road on any given day if the off the road rate was the same as it is for the coaches on Red Arrow (even ignoring any use of 910). For the off the road rate to be higher than Red Arrow this would mean that both of the spare enviros would be on skylink at least 4 days per week (Monday to Friday) which is very rarely the case,
