Yes, but who is g
Strangely though, it bizarrely works! Same as at Pentagon
Yes, but only mad car drivers argue with a bus. Looked cosy the other week..I saw an H1 Enviro come round the Inner Ring Road to turn down Chapel Street to get to the Inner Ring Road. There was a beer lorry unloading just round the corner.

i was on a 6X which did that a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a good idea, certainly fewer traffic lights than going the Albert St./Victoria St.way - unloading lorries excepted of course!

Done both ways and it all depends on the time of day, either way the 5 mins to Pektron isn't happening!

We get 6 mins but still your lucky to be getting out at radio Derby by the time your meant to be at pektron
One timetable thing I noticed was the difference in time that the Sixes got to Benedicts School, compared with an Allestree bus to the University

Used to be the same on the 141 & the threes to city hospital from Nottingham.

And pronto from Sherwood to Nottingham compared to Calverton (admittedly Calverton went further into Nottingham)

We do get up to 12 on some trips but these are the trips it takes you 12 mins to get out of the side of the tunnel when there's no diversions!

One day I must have a closer look what is going on in that Stuart Street/Phoenix Street section. One road is currently two way. One office block has been knocked down Still seems odd seeing buses leave Exeter Place onto Derwent Street

At least 2 Kinchbus E12s are now at Langley Mill
I wonder if they will be 75 plated, or 26 plated, given we are getting close to the registration plate changeover? Of course, should they already be taxed, they will stay as they are

492 expired on Ripley market this afternoon.
I am amazed it keeps going on, and on, and on. Saw one of your Threes Enviros OUE on Meadow Road when I went past today.

Interesting that on X , someone asked about the 11.21 , 6.2 from Duffield to Belper. (That would have been a subsequent working for 492). Trentbarton responded "None of our drivers have reported any problems on the route". Probably too busy hitting the bus with a hammer. But surely, when a bus breaks down, the driver does make contact. Oh well, one day there will be no Solos left

There was also a comet expired at Denby first thing in the morning, too.

Not sure 492 is the right calibre of vehicle for a route like the sixes - or even what they are appropriate for now across the network. Even connect has outgrown the use of them, 90, too.

It was at Meadow Rd for MOT.

I guess the Volvos are getting very tired. So are the Solos. So are the Versas. I did a kindness for a Nines driver yesterday. Let him move lanes to the left to turn off onto Mansfield Road. A few drivers would probably deliberately run alongside to stop it .Every little helps. But as for 491/492 on the 6.2. I would have thought it was the right sized bus for that route. Not like anyone expects it to run these days.

Sadly, there won't be growth when so many services miss out. It has the knock on effect of increasing other traffic...It all reminds me of around 1975/1976. I used to catch the bus to work....I could not afford to lose my job. Looks like the 6.2 is performing as normal today..

Volvo 717 appears to be tracking on V1 today, is this a loan from LM or a permanent transfer? Also, I've also seen that 735 has returned to trent and did a few rounds of the swift

725 back at Nottingham, on loan as extra bus required whilst there are roadworks on A52. 735 looks to have replaced it at Derby (from kinchbus).

By the looks of things 735 is currently permanent whilst 717 was just a day loan

I am surprised other depots lend buses to Derby. You'd have thought they would have had their own need.
Depends

Also you never know when you'll need to borrow buses back. One thing that does surprise me is the reluctance to utilise the notts and derby fleet at Derby, especially when it's mainly ex trentbarton vehicles.
