Ye noticed it a around E200 with that branding probably mid 2025 never seen it before, but I rarely see littles buses as it is other than the two that appear usually on the 14.
Think it had a rear branding for it too I'll see if I can find a picture somewhere

Littles Travel have been seen route learning in the Albert Road Estate, off Nottingham Road, Chaddesden. Blimey, last time I was there the service was worked by a Trentbarton Bristol RELH DP painted all NBC red.

Its good tom see route learning taking place. From conversation with a driver operating the service a few years ago it was the first time he had ever been to Derby.
I grew up on that estate, my first memory of a bus was 306 on rainbow 5 https://flic.kr/p/5tUdF2, still yet to head to Lynx to see any of the tempos, definitely on this years to-do.
Do remember notts+derby operating it for a time as the 19/19A, still remember the grey funky seating from the P/R reg darts, simpler times .

In a former life driving and conducting for Derby City Transport my first experience of Albert Road estate was on CVG6 156. Happy days
On another note, i vaguely think i remember something in this forum that someone said about Trentbarton may not buy anymore buses from ADL due to one thing and another such as fires.
Not saying this ain't true and they won't buy new buses from ADL or if it was just people speculating and making there own assumptions, but seems to me there relationship is still good as the
Trentbarton 2024-25 really good service awards was sponsored by ADL themselves according to their website which I'll quote a little bit of from the whole story.
"James Davidson, who drives red arrow between Derby and Nottingham, was judged the best of the best, winning Driver of the Year at the awards ceremony at Derby’s Museum of Making. The award was sponsored by Alexander Dennis."

So one would assume that the relationship between Trent and ADL must still be good to the point ADL themselves still see a future with Trent otherwise I wouldn't think they would invest/sponser

Whilst we're on the subject, did Trentbarton request a lot of changes to the usual specifications when they ordered the E200s from ADL?
Most other operator's E200s which I've seen have single seats facing inwards either side of the front offside wheelarch. TB's examples have a double seat behind the driver facing forward.
Of course, we know about the cantilevered seats and there are several other little fol-de-rols which TB like to have in their quest to be really good.
Are their E200s fundamentally different from any others on the road?

I can't remember seeing any MMCs with sideways-facing seats across the front axle. All of the Arriva ones that I rode on yesterday have them facing forwards as per your description

MMC200s have the double forward-facing seats on the front axle behind the driver. The standard Enviro20 have two sideways-facing seats there instead.
Slightly off topic, but the Scania and MAN chassis Enviro300s had a forward-facing seat on each side at the front similar to the Volvo Eclipses you're familiar with. Integral Enviro300s have three longitudinal seats on the offside

I thought Trentbarton always insisted on their special requirements. Optare used to deliver it, ADL used to deliver it. Not sure you'll get the same from Yutongs, as they maybe more standard.. Whatever they buy going forward, I wish they would ditch the sun roof... Makes them like mobile greenhouses. On a different subject, Notts and Derby have Littles deckers D10/D11 on loan. I know at least one is a President. Not sure what, if anything, they track as. I guess they are short of deckers with losing 1178 and the bang to Gemini 28.

And on a totally different subject. Does anyone know if Midland General are expanding their Flixbus operation. On the Flixbus posts on this forum, there is mention of a service 014/N14, London to York, where the diagrams appear to start in Derby. After all, there is more space at Meadow Road.
I've only heard rumours of a Flixbus expansion but nothing concrete

Visions there, of concrete buses....Flixbus are certainly planning to expand in 2026, in many areas. As the saying went at work "you have to be in it, to win it".

You can't fit sunroofs on a Yutong for the batteries above, so there's a win.
The sunroofs aren't as offensive on the newer ADLs (threes and newer) with the tint. Sitting on an indigo for an hour in the blistering heat isn't something I'd wish on anyone!

Yes, but re Yutongs. That isn't a win. It is a huge win. I know quite a few people who just avoid the Trentbarton buses on hot days. Think of the lost revenue Personally, and I have an ENCTS pass... I still walk around 3 miles, rather than catch the bus. Good for my health. But when it comes to a choice between the i4 and the Indigo to Nottingham, on a warm day. I catch a lovely air conditioned train.

Ex Kinchbus Solo SR 501 is now in service with TM Travel
Solo 479 has also made its move away from Kinchbus, reported to have gone to Langley Mill. I wouldn’t expect it to see use there but someone else who has more knowledge might be able to clarify this?

Yep, there was a lot of work being carried out on it yesterday and it went out on the extra 90 this morning, so some more work can be done to it this morning.
Internally we were told that although the colour would remain the same as the sixes is currently (the amount of colours used has been significantly reduced over the last few years) the vinyls would be different and they would be obtaining new LED headlights.

I think the last time I saw 496, it was in a group of 4 Solo SRs at Meadow Road. I guess they took parts off to get others into service. Sixes, same colour, but different vinyls may not convey "new improved" to the customer base..Well, those that are left anyway. I know many who just gave up on the route.

Can anyone confirm how many seats the Kinchbus E9Ls actually have. When I got on one, the data panel suggested 26. But I only counted 24. 7 plus 5 tip ups on the low section 12 in the upper section. Made me wonder how I missed two, unless two seats should have been where the single seats are .
