Can anyone confirm how many seats the Kinchbus E9Ls actually have. When I got on one, the data panel suggested 26. But I only counted 24. 7 plus 5 tip ups on the low section 12 in the upper section. Made me wonder how I missed two, unless two seats should have been where the single seats are .
If they're anything like the Centrebus E10s used on Orbital the wider seats behind the driver and the one facing backwards apparently seat two people on each.

The accuracy of the data panel seems to be variable! When I looked around them when they were on display in Loughborough town centre last month, I noticed two different data panels: one being proprietary to Yutong and the other added by Kinchbus, with each having different figures!

You never know. Someone might post a picture. I must say, on the exhibition day, I did think there was something amiss.

I can imagine the Kinch-fitted sticker is correct. The Yutongs we received in Chesterfield were marked as only allowing one wheelchair user despite having two fully functioning wheelchair bays (that were specified by ZEBRA!)

It now makes me wonder if they all have the same number of seats. Maybe the Sprint ones up to 3107 have less seats than the 3108 to 3111 batch.

No, they have the same number of seats.

First photo is 3111, second photo is 3106.

Solo 479 has also made its move away from Kinchbus, reported to have gone to Langley Mill. I wouldn’t expect it to see use there but someone else who has more knowledge might be able to clarify this?
478 has been tracking with Notts and Derby today and 479 is also showing on the fleet list on bus times.

479 is actually tracking as 497. Of course, 497 (the real one) is away for painting.
just a personal opinion but I would of thought would made more sence for trent to keep 497 or 499 instead of nottsderby having them (assuming 498 is staying at kinch for DRT spare) as this would allow trent to remove 506 and give that to TM as I assume with it being a 63 plate it's complient at sheffield as along with 503 and 830 (which no doubt I assume will end up at TM too being complient), which in total is 3 buses which can replace 3/5 non complient TM solos (467,473,474,487) leaving 2 non complient which can stay anyway as 1 is used mostly in Rotherham on route 20 and the other can stay on the M55/45 which bith routes don't entre sheffield clean air zone but who knows mabey they have other plans

Was curious with B25 (YJ57 EHB) being used on 9/9A currently at littles, what do they plan using number 3 (YJ07 EFT) for or is it a spare? Also is there a picture of B25 in the littles livery?
talking of littles is there any plans for littles to move over to standard numbering that rest of wellglade use or are they sticking to there unique fleet numbering long term?

3/4 from kinch (B1/B2 now) are for general use, B25 has been posted in the littles enthusiast group on Facebook. & no i doubt littles will, a lot of stuff now is ex wellglade renumbered.

Must be why 497 then soon, 499 are being painted in Notts and Derby livery. 497 should be back soon.. I had thought the goal was for TB to get rid of the Solos. Have a picture of 1193/B25, in Derby.

They really do need to sort out proper programming of their destinations

Backgrounds interesting too, showing the indigo exiting Exeter Place, which currently has the one way system reversed.

Indeed. I thought that diversion was only going to be a day or so.. Severn Trent were looking for something or other...It means all buses going to the depot have to go Inner Ring Road via the Pentagon Island.

It hasn't been much fun on the nines during rush hour - going in or out of Derby
Was it ever fun on the Nines? At least you still have 277 "helping out". I wonder if much traffic is diverting due to the long, long term roadworks between the City Centre and Five Lamps?

Can be a bit nerve wracking going into the city trying to get into that 4th lane - especially with 480.
