I seem to recall, about a year ago, there was some potential for Notts and Derby expansion of contract work, but there wouldn't have been anywhere to park the buses. The Swift route seems to be suffering this week. 669 yesterday, 701 today. As the days and nights get colder, it must be hard for drivers waiting for recovery.I know

The replacement vehicles, probably the Deltas would have had a different way of driving...Always loved the Deltas. As for Ash field, you love Enviro 200MMCs.

But is 669 withdrawn? It was on the pits in A garage Derby today, seemingly under repair. Maybe there is nothing else, more reliable

Unless they get rid the tempo that can't go on public roads atm because of that lift fault thing although it's newer than the scania but then again I assume there's more spare parts floating around for scanias than the tempos as they was withdrawn 1st plus the scania can be used on the road currently and unlike the tempo won't have to stay in the depot for training? Then eventually scanias be used for depot training before using versas for road training till the training fleet changes around again
Maybe in time, it will be Volvos. After all, should be 4 coming out of Kinchbus next year.
Suppose it does standardise the training fleet a bit but the tempo is useful in the depot as it normally gets used for the reversing and mod 4 questions.

A timetable I got issued from that date does indeed show the altered route on its map. But I don't remember hearing any announcement about the service changes beforehand, nor can I find a registered bus service variation from that date.
Its currently shown as a 'Variation' (even though the start date has passed), the TC must have the usual backlog of applications. I never understood in my previous job why these things took so long.
Oh, yeah, I've found it now. For whatever reason the variation isn't listed on Bustimes yet.
Bus Times registration list doesn't seem to be picking up anything in 'Variation' status, I've just looked up a couple of other local routes that have changes imminent and they don't show.
Well you say that... I'll admit I use the Allestree when it is a Versa even 733, even a Solo. Never an Enviro 200MMC with a sun roof.

Do the red Solos get much variety in work at Derby?
Sixes, harlequin and V3 seem to be the main routes but they do end up on other routes occasionally.
