Can anyone confirm if a Volvo has gone for paint into the Swift colours? Some people have said one has but from what I saw there seemed to be a bit of a debate on it.

Been off road since before 737 met its demise so unless they can see into the future - either that or they decided to get it repainted whilst it was off anyway
I would be surprised if something was repainted into swift so quickly, it took nearly two years for indigo to get a spare repainted, cotgrave hasnt had anything repainted yet either

Re my earlier point on 128 I assume it’s off having something done to it and we will see it again in time. Just for a bit of weekend fun I thought it’d be interesting to see how the new derby livery would look if it were adapted for the Nottingham service. I know it’s not 100% accurate it was never meant to be only just a bit of fun. Maybe we could see something like it soon

Several red buses work for Notts and Derby. I guess the biggest is former TM Travel Scania decker, 1173 which rejoined 1178 sometime ago. Of course , 1178 was once Notts and Derby 11.

I feel sure the Volvos will go on the Sixes. I would think the Sixes Versas may well go on My15, if TM Travel don't have them.

I presume because someone transferred them from Kinchbus to Trentbarton upon withdrawal, when at the time, their ultimate user would not be known. Okay, it was highly likely, but not certain.

As 157 has been repainted and 10 buses are being repainted at blackburn and needed for the two, does this mean 146 will become spare mango/trantbarton or possibly be repainted or release 145 (as its the same batch as other cotgraves) to be repainted into cotgrave if 143 is found to be uneconomically repairable?
Then I assume if they want to replace the notts skylink enviro which also burned down they will repaint 128

If 143 is found to be economically repairable then there is something wrong it was pretty much burnt to a crisp, definitely one of the worst fires they’ve had in terms of damage
Entirely possible one of the batch could be repainted for the cotgrave
It would make sense for 128 to be repainted back into skylink notts unless there are imminent plans for that route to be upgraded

It would make a little bit of sense to repaint 128 for the keyworth so 726 can come off and become a spare or a transfer

Skylink Nottingham often has more than one spare on the route, probably because of it being 24 hours, and is a more intensive route than the keyworth. In the long term 128 being repainted for skylink Nottingham would reduce spare usage.

So that explains why we were unceremoniously thrown off the 12 (Sprint Solo 3) this afternoon having just boarded in Swan St. No replacement - had to wait another for the next 11 to show up. One old lady opted to stay on as the university bus was 'OK for her'. Think she may have been disappointed. From what I can see it probably was diverted along Ashby Rd and nowhere near where she thought it would be going.

If they can't get it repaired by Monday could be some interesting times on the locals. 347 has spent the last two days on non-skylink work to cover for a shortage of serviceable vehicles on the town services which is clearly unsustainable and that's before the 3 vehicle increase in PVR from Monday.
