Makes you wonder if it's really worth it. Will they get as much out of it as what they put in? Will all Notts County players and fans suddenly start travelling by Trentbarton just because their hardly noticeable logo is on club shirts? I wouldn't bet on it!
To be fair, they aren’t the main shirt sponsor. They are one of the clubs sponsors, big enough that they get to have their logo on the youth teams shirts.

It's a partnership with the club, much similar to the way how they do for smaller community clubs and logos will only appear on academy shirts.

Whoops 277 should have been in there.

To be honest, judging by Bustimes, they don't seem to be as bad recently. Maybe its because they have a more ready supply of spares from ex Threes examples and those donor ones they brought in.
841 and 843 weren't very reliable today.

As already mentioned in the previous post.

It's there while the ADLs have some work done to them

Does anyone know why the Sprint in Loughborough is now running through Nottingham Road and Fennel Street towards the town centre instead of Clarence Street and Toothill Road? The new flag at the stand on Fennel Street has the (new) Sprint logo on it, which suggests that this route change is permanent. But I don't remember hearing about any such alteration beforehand.

Would the university impose this kind of change?

Doing some research at the moment. Does anyone know anything about Kinchbus 14 or Kinchbus 4 (potentially called shepshed sprinter)

Ran between Shepshed and Loughborough railway station. It was later passed to Paul S. Winson Coaches who ran it until they withdrew it in 2015.

I couldn't imagine why that would be the case when the route change is off-campus.
Because it is their contract? And it was retendered this summer so it is a logical time to review the route if you were going to do so. That said the nature of this change would probably have come from the operator as it doesn't seem to offer anything particularly advantageous to the Uni (unless there is an area of student housing hidden just off Nottingham Road for instance), possibly issues with parking on Clarence Street which looks like it could be tight if the parking is well used on both sides of the road whilst Nottingham Road doesn't have a major traffic problem that I have ever seen that avoiding that could gain by.

The order was placed in May 2025, production lead time is quoted as between 7 and 9 months.

Lead times - https://www.keybuses.com/article/transformational-decade
Wellglade order - https://www.route-one.net/news/kinchbus-orders-21-yutong-e9l-and-e12-battery-electrics/
I don’t want to say those lead times are wrong, but nearby Nottingham City Transport announced the order of their last batch in July 2024 and that batch is arrived in the country in August for their visit to Pelican.

So I don’t think there’ll be any updates for a while yet

But NCT could have placed a delivery schedule, meaning their about to be delivered buses, are on time. Doesn't mean to say the Kinchbus ones will be delayed. Anyway, takes about 6 weeks by ship from China to the UK. That assumes no issues en route.

Regarding Littles Travel, are there any future plans for the company? Such as more service routes and bringing fleet numbering in line with the wider fleet?

Littles has quite a small fleet and the routes seem to be private hires they have the 14 and the 444/555 and other school routes

There are plans

A new assistant transport manager is being appointed, further work nothing announced yet - they've been carrying various maintenance activities out on Group vehicles.

Previous directors / managers remain in situ and it's in capable hands.

Fleet numbers will be much the same as TM - if there's no Group clash there's no need to change.

Oh it was re-tendered? Do you have a link for the tender information please?

That is what has been established, my question was about whether or not branding for The Two has been applied to the MMCs yet.
They should have them on the road really. Looks like quite a few services were dropped by Derby today. 6.2 didn't seem to run much, as often seems to be the case. Mickleovers had quite a few cancelled trips too.

Atleast 751s back! Certainly will help reduce the amount of spares on comet and helping the other services with the spare gained

I’m not saying their NCTs Yutongs are late. My post didn’t say anything about being late. I’m saying if they’re only just arriving in the UK over 12 months after their order, it seems likely that the Kinch ones would arrive in half the time. NCT are short on buses and want to get rid of their diesel single decker fleet ASAP and this batch is almost all spares so why wouldn’t they have asked for them asap?

They are likely to be further transfers to subsidiary companies when newer vehicles are lined up (as they'd need new destination epuipment too as well as a repaint / refurb) again subject to probable change.

ADLs for the two are being vinyled at Langley Mill now

No, one of my colleagues deals with tenders so I don't get the links (if they are publicly accessible and not restricted to approved bidders) but I am involved in preparing data for bids so I know some of what is tendered and that did cross my desk for evaluation this year.
