An Enviro 200MMC that doesn't rattle? Does it have a sun roof? If it was a warranty spare, then there must be a lot of warranty work. Must have there 10 months
Nope closed roof so massive improvement on most batches that Trent… & yeah, compared to others of similar age it was rather solid on the road & didn’t rattle (much, it’s still an ADL) but it’s a rather nice 4pot

I'm worried now, when you say "nice 4 pot". If the Enviro 200MMC had bigger opening windows and no sunroof, they would be just about bearable. If they had better suspension, they would be just about acceptable.

It seems 741 is double tracking with another bus - any idea what it has actually been up to this week?

Kinch mango Solo 503 has been tracking at Derby yesterday and today along with Versa 820. Possibly one is a replacement for 269 now it's being branded again?

I thought Kinchbus were short of buses. Maybe Derby has buses off the road again, awaiting parts

Maybe, 751 has been up at Langley Mill this week but maybe now the new Skylinks have settled in and with uni holidays Kinch can free up 1 bus to help elsewhere.

I can't keep track of which Volvos had new engines.. by new, I mean they could be refurbished.
It’s a shame they haven’t done the same style of refurb they did to the L94s when sixes was relaunched, with a full interior refurb the Volvos would again be solid motors, it’s a shame they don’t seem to want to spend money on them like that.

751 and 748 have had new or recfurbed engines within the last 18 months just 750 hasn't had one as far as I know (in the last few years at least)

Stop wearing them out, or you'll get a Versa or a Solo.

Oh don't remind me of the lovely Scanias. The odd cream, but normally a quality ride. Nowadays, it seems a distant memory.

Pretty much all of the B7s are nearing 1million miles so i’d say its fair to assume the majority have had to have a good overhaul at some point
Comets look ready for a repaint. Maybe a new image.

Not sure how a refurb would make them any more solid than what they already are.

A fair few of the Volvos have done over a million miles

been informed that supposedly 737 has been destroyed by a fire this evening, yet to see any official articles or photos but it’s come from a few different reliable sources

No, they just get a little warm , just like the Enviro 200MMCs. .

That said, 738 has taken a rather substantial diversion north of the area where 737 last tracked.

Unfortunately it’s in an awkward spot, Google maps & Waze both state the road is completely shut, 735 also diverted.

I believe this is the first B7RLE fire in Wellglade? I could be wrong
I think you are correct. I think only 705 and 749 have been withdrawn, both after accidents. Of course 703 got rebuilt after that incident near Etwall.

Seems someone took a drone up after it had been extinguished, quite clear from the damage that it won’t be returning to service, will this also start a trend of B7s igniting.

Hopefully everyone got off safely (I assume we’d have heard if they hadn’t)

Don’t forget 75 (plus 2 omnidekkas maintained by Trent engineers) & numerous other small fires

Supposedly an air ambulance landed near by at the same time of the fire, unsure if this was related to the fire or not

My15 Versa 804 has also gone up in flames last night. I saw the aftermath of it being towed back to the depot and the entire rear half of the vehicle is a burnt out shell
