Just spotted a plain white Yutong coach on the A52 with what looked like two trentbarton staff up front, most likely starting training for the Red Arrow upgrade.
There was a report of a Yutong coach at Langley Mill the other day. Could be training the Flixbus drivers too.Just spotted a plain white Yutong coach on the A52 with what looked like two trentbarton staff up front, most likely starting training for the Red Arrow upgrade.
I did see a Yutong coach parked in Broadmarsh Bus Station today, seems a bit odd for it to be there though. There was a report of a Yutong coach at Langley Mill the other day. Could be training the Flixbus drivers too.
YK74 PFD is said to be the coach currently with Wellglade. I noticed a Flixbus green coach from Belle Vue at Broadmarsh yesterdayI did see a Yutong coach parked in Broadmarsh Bus Station today, seems a bit odd for it to be there though.
Flixbus goes from nottingham broadmarsh it doesI did see a Yutong coach parked in Broadmarsh Bus Station today, seems a bit odd for it to be there though.
So I see.Flixbus started serving Broadmarsh from 17th April
I believe it's only to help out during service disruption, the same reason an Indigo E200 worked a Mainline service yesterdayNotts and derby 767 is also on loan to High peak, on the TP service.
High Peak 506 seemed to stop tracking in Duffield and the A6 was closed by the Whitworth Hospital top side of Matlock earlier.I believe it's only to help out during service disruption, the same reason an Indigo E200 worked a Mainline service yesterday
Ah, just noticed that now, does anyone know why it's been withdrawn? There's a volvo bzl demo at kinchbus currently on the 2, reg BV72 KPF

Mango 109's also been withdrawn from kinchbus
Had a rtc in kegworth, no doubt the damage is significant enough that by the time it's repaired the new mmcs are in service anywayAh, just noticed that now, does anyone know why it's been withdrawn?
Also that Sprint should be moving over to the summer timetable imminently freeing up buses to cover the town services over the summer.Had a rtc in kegworth, no doubt the damage is significant enough that by the time it's repaired the new mmcs are in service anyway
Is 109 really that bad? Buses these days seem to get rebuilt, unless they are bent like a banana /bent frame. There's a volvo bzl demo at kinchbus currently on the 2, reg BV72 KPF

Gone back to trent seemingly so likely repairable, would imagine it was due to go back to trent alongside 174/5 when the 25plates enter serviceIs 109 really that bad? Buses these days seem to get rebuilt, unless they are bent like a banana /bent frame.
It's more the fact that it'll take enough time to repair that the Yutongs will be in service so it won't be seen with Kinch anymoreIs 109 really that bad? Buses these days seem to get rebuilt, unless they are bent like a banana /bent frame.
Well, not with Wellglade coaches, anyway, unless they use that white demo. When do the Flixbus services start running. Tomorrow?
They were due to start tomorrow. Then it got pushed back to 23rd June, now it's showing on Flix website as 1st July though I'd take that date with a very large pinch of salt. When do the Flixbus services start running. Tomorrow?
The services they were supposed to be running were available to book, in fact I think I'm probably booked on one of the Wellglade Flix services in a couple of weeks. Have these services just been cancelled? They were due to start tomorrow. Trips prior to the 1st July have been cancelled. For dates after that, don't hold your breath too much. 2 pushbacks so far, and it's currently showing as a 'big bang' approach with everything starting on one day which is a LOT for any company to mobilise 11 new vehicles in one day across 2 depot for a long distance contract work where lots can go wrong. The services they were supposed to be running were available to book, in fact I think I'm probably booked on one of the Wellglade Flix services in a couple of weeks. They were turned off when the init machines were removedNoticed on the 770 (BF65 WLE) that the onboard signage is now active, voiceover and all. How long have these been inactive for? It's interesting to see them working again after ages.
Was 1st July when the more intense (full) timetable was meant to start, with just a few trips prior to that in June? I assume it has been postponed mainly due to lack of coaches! Chalfont are supposed to be starting on the Heathrow services soon too.Trips prior to the 1st July have been cancelled. Do you know which trip you are using (don't share dates) and I will check on my timetables to see who the operator is.
No, it was down to all start on 12th June (today) as a 'big bang'. Then it was delayed with the everything being 23rd June. Then it was just the 002 starting 23rd June. Purely to reply to this, Chalfont already started them in April, and has just enhanced them today, and due to enhance it next week as well. Happy to discuss further in the Flixbus thread.Chalfont are supposed to be starting on the Heathrow services soon too.
