Just seen this on TrentBarton’s Facebook, fewer services out of Meadow Road this morning….
“ Due to a police incident in Derby, we have been unable to move buses from our Meadow Road depot.
At this moment in time (6:30am) the following services are not running:
the villager
xprss38
harlequin
the allestree
the mickleover
V3
the comet
The following services are running at a reduced level:
red arrow
indigo
i4
Our team have been deployed across the network to keep you all updated and we will share any updates on here as we get them.”
This is on Derbyshire Constabulary’s Facebook page….
“#CLOSED | BBC RADIO DERBY, EASTGATE, THE A52 PENTAGON ISLAND, DERWENT STREET AND EXETER STREET ARE CURRENLTY CLOSED DUE TO A POLICE INCIDENT.
PLEASE AVOID THE AREA AND USE OTHER ROUTES.”

I've just seen 725 this morning on the red arrow. Looks as if they have to pinch buses from other depots in an attempt to keep services running due to pentagon being closed

107 and 108 are also pictured at langley mill. Returning to trent or do they need big repairs? 107 was supposedly seen on skylink derby with smoke coming out the back of it a few days ago…

Those 2 are now (according to bustimes) back with trentbarton but with previous history of false edits, I wouldn't take it seriously until it's confirmed by a staff member/driver

Yes this is what I saw but theres the possibility they could be in for repairs rather than going back to trent, it is odd that both have returned together now so likely returned to trent. There is i suppose a case for them staying at kinch and going back to trent, 2 spares for the skylink potentially might not cut it in the future as the fleet ages, but 4 spares is overkill currently
Looking at it logically 107/108 have seen little use since the introduction of the yutongs so they would be better off returning them to trent, then trent can loan kinch spares in the event that any of the main skylink fleet end up long term off road

I've never seen the point of moving buses from Kinchbus to Trentbarton on Bustimes. For a start, if they have transferred, they will have totally different ticket machines. But they could end up with any Wellglade operator. Yes, even Notts and Derby.

146 seems to be having trouble in Arnold, managed some trips on the Calverton until it decided to go into limp mode... (wellglade in general aren't having much luck seemingly with MMCs recently)

I don't know why .I thought these "refurbished " Sixes Volvos would have arrived from the ESU at Langley Mill, ready for use... Seemingly they come to Derby, for ongoing work to be done. Then they enter service. At one point, 774 and 773 were parked in "C garage" then it was 775 and 773.

Yes there will be and various on the day things are already happening such as the bus breakfasts but more specific events are pencilled in (that's what we were told internally anyway)

The first of the two door forward Streetlites for TM Travel is now repainted into TM Travel red. Fleet number 90 is SK18 TKA. Presume SK18 TKC will be 91.

Far from ideal on the threes / nines but when the alternative is losing the mileage it's a no brainer
