Confusing advice on the VTEC website about travel today.

"Due to heavy snow and extreme weather conditions across the country over the past few days, we're advising customers not to travel today, Saturday 3rd March".

Then further down the page...

"Any customers who were booked to travel on a Virgin Trains East Coast service to or from anywhere north of Newcastle between Wednesday 28 February and Sunday 4 March will be entitled to a full refund without charge if they return their unused tickets to their point of purchase. ".

So what are they saying for people like me who were due to travel on a journey to the South of Newcastle? We don't want you to travel but if you take our advice we won't give you a refund?

The "North of Newcastle " part didn't appear on the email chain I was involved in.
