No, I don't think this is practicable or sensible to do be done as a matter of course.Maybe the train should always reverse direction at Newcastle so First Class is at the correct end at both Edinburgh and London?
An Edinburgh <-> London service can be reversed in either northbound or southbound directions.Due to the layout, you can only reverse the set when going southbound.....
Either way, you'd be approaching the station from the east, and departing the station from the east, and using the High Level Bridge.
