I follow Frankie Boyle on twitter, he's apparently on a Virgin train that's been stood still so long it's being evacuated? Are things really that bad with the wires?

Evac temporarily halted while engineers work on train.
Appears to be train issue rather than knitting.
From Frankie Boyle's twitter covering the delay, in case anyone was curious.@frankieboyle: Branson you c**t, you have managed to turn a 4 hour journey to London into a full blown humanitarian crisis
@frankieboyle: Oh god, people on the train are starting to bond. It's too awful for words.
@frankieboyle: Virgin make failed attempt to evacuate train. People literally dying all around me like veal calves.

Nice to see Virgin blaming the overhead wires even when they know the fault is with their train!![]()
I wonder it the problem with the wires was caused by his train?
There werent any problems prior to this train but loads after it.
Probably, yes. Would have thought it could be a panto fault on the 390.
Expect this to be in the media tomorrow.....of course blaming the TOC for everything even if it wasnt actually their fault. Also expect the passengers who decided to trespass on the tracks to be portrayed as saints too....
I thought Virgin evacuated them or tried to? Either way they've been on that train a very long time now.
Following overhead wire problems near Acton Bridge earlier this afternoon, all lines are now open again. However journeys may be extended by up to 10 minutes between Liverpool Lime Street / Warrington Bank Quay and Crewe. This is expected to continue until the end of service.
11:40 Glasgow Central to London Euston service. This train was delayed by more than 4 hours near Winsford earlier today. Passengers have been taken forward to Crewe station, and have transferred onto an alternative service to London Euston
Never imagined I'd find something involving the abominable Frankie Boyle so funny, sorry for all the other passengers and staff though
As he's a comedian, I highly doubt he was being serious.I don't even know who Frankie Boyle is, but I find it hard to give any credence to his twitters when he says people are "literally" dying all around him.
As for a "full-blown humanitarian crisis" has he not been appalled at the happenings in Gaza?

Never heard of this comedian but then I don't much like them. Thought he was the guy who did the Olympic ceremonies.
