I applaud your honesty. Most people would try and rationalise their choice with arguments like "humans are carnivores" (we aren't - compare a human digestive system with a cat's) or "you need milk for calcium" (you don't, there are plenty of plant sources that are better than milk for various reasons) rather than admit it's all down to taste.
Fish is the food to me that is a bit more controversial. Whether anyone agrees to the practices or not most cattle, sheep, chickens etc we eat are produced for that purpose. I know people that don't eat meat because they don't agree with producing animals just to eat fair enough. However they eat fish which could become extint on some species such as cod. I know Salmon (with many problems) is farmed so I guess that it is a lot more difficult to farm fish. It is just something I have never understood - surely on principle fish is something we should be more careful about.
