User UNfriendly websites.

South West Trains and Freightliner seem to have awful application systems.

SWT seems to be fragmented and a generic webiste, whilst FL seems to just not work, and in the brief moment that it does it's slower than a snail in tar.

Just me, or have any of you had the same experience?

I had the same experience with SWT but was still able to complete and submit an application.

What are the issues you are encountering?

The problem for me was text I had entered disappearing when I saved and re-loaded the form later. I ended up copying and saving all of the text I entered onto a word document. Eventually when I had content for every box on the form I attempted to complete the application in one go without saving by copying back from the word document as I went. It submitted successfully after that.

Of all Southern Railways seem the worst.

Spend too long filling in their form, and it deletes the data candidates had spent 'up 2 hours' typing in. Noticed quite a few irate people on their social media over the years, they clearly don't listen.

My issue with SWT is that it has a generic site that is awful to use but it does at least work. Freightliner's really does not work. Never got past page 2 before it tells me it does not exist!

Not really a good start, image wise.

Spoke to Freightliner and was told that their website is rubbish, but they're not going to do anything about it.

Love the honesty.

They've moved to a newer system, the old one was appalling but the newer one seems a lot more usable.
