It might've done, lol. Time flies. Not really kept up with proceedings after the government put the final nails in the coffin. In that case, is there any chance whatsoever of more traffic, or is the line just going to get lifted eventually? I know the site is going to be used further as some sort of weird wacky biofuel depot or something of that nature...

To be pedantic, it isn't an NMT, it's a PLPR (Plain Line Pattern Recognition) train,
worked by Colas locos/power cars.

The actual NMT (New Measurement Train) is always worked by 2 of the three Network Rail
class 43 power cars (43013/014/062) and visits Scotland at the start of every week.

Just to confuse matters, whenever the NMT is under maintenance PLPR-1, which includes
the Mentor OLE test coach, 'steps up' to work its trains - this is due to happen next week.

You seem to know an awful lot about test trains (I guess you would as Freightmaster, lol!) would you happen to know when the next 37 hauled inspection train would be? I don't mean a 37 test train. I was in the area a few months ago when Caroline hauled by a 37 passed through the Glasgow area but missed it. Would be very interested to see it at some point. Is it something that works on a schedule like the test trains or is it more of a random occurrence? Thanks
