Hello guys,
Wonder if anyone can let me know how many trains per week are leaving Tyne Dock as I have noticed the coal stock piles are dramatically reducing.I often go into the dock as I do work as a volunteer for Mission to Seafarers and have noticed that not too many trains load coal during the day but after 1800 there is often 2 loading at a time .I also go on the biomass ships and since the end of October there has been about 250 000 tonnes arrive , once this vessel Petrel Bulker has finished discharge , she has been in since Boxing day but they cannot unload if it rains and also if the wind is more than 10 mph westerly.
