Platform 7 at Inverness seems closer to the bus station than the train station at times.
Used for stabling some trains, there's often a 450 in there. Not in passenger use though.Does anything ever use the bay platform at Southampton Central. It doesn't look as rusty as it should if it was completely unused?
never got the Platform 2c thing at Sheffield, but only seen Platform 2 at Doncaster used a couple of times in the last few years for Lincoln Christmas Market trains (caught the 10:24 from there in 2009 on the Sat, possibly once since then)
Platform 4 at Banbury. It's the bay at the south end of platform 3.

I've been told by staff there that occasional arrivals have been OK'd in the past with passengers on board, but that the signalling for leaving the bay is not currently installed to passenger standards.
Platform 4c at Birmingham New Street. Until recently I did not know this bay platform existed.

And all the platforms at St Pancras ??????
12D at Leeds, northbound XC use it and when they're normally 4 car voyagers its a massive trek to them from almost every other connecting service. Never understood why they dont stop mid way up platform 12 similarly to TPE do at 15 and 16
I think that's partly because of the way that the south end of it curves away from the track - there's a potential falling risk.Preston ... platform 7 never seems to be used for passengers
Heaven knows when it was last used for a passenger train, but p1 at Hull is very out of the way.

Newcastle's already had a mention for 9-12, but I think 8 must be in with a shout. It was a rare treat to depart off it back in the day, particularly as only a 142 or 153 would fit! (156s could only open 3 doors, the 4th hanging off the platform).
Bloody exposed, windswept and utterly miles away. Does anything use it these days?
Often used to stable a class 142 unit before it is fired up to work a shuttle to the Metrocentre usually (On those services that don’t work through from Morpeth). I can’t recall a time when platform 8 has been used for anything else (EDIT: Though, reading the post above, looks like it has)!Newcastle's already had a mention for 9-12, but I think 8 must be in with a shout.
