Trivia - non-stationary stations

I'm a regular in Morecambe and passed through Forster Square recently. Are there other stations that have moved a little bit but not that far? Why? Both of these I assume to sell the original site.

If, of course, this is too trivial or has been asked many times moderation won't upset me.

Fort William station was moved back down the line from the side of Loch Linnhe to its current location in the mid 1970s. I believe to make way for the 'by-pass' taking traffic out of the narrow High St.

Redditch station has moved 4 times, 1868, 1972 and 1992.

Balloch was moved to cut out a level crossing. Same as Uckfield.

Llandudno Junction to a bigger site.

Exmouth and Epsom Downs are two that spring to my mind.

Osterley on the Piccadilly Line and Aldgate East on the District/H&C Lines if we're including the Underground.

Chapeltown (S Yorks) moved a few yards. Unlike others noted here, it's not a truncation; just a move.
You might argue that a form of truncation like at Bradford FSq has also happened at St Pancras.
Bradford Interchange is a truncation of what was the line to Exchange.
Sheringham moved across a former and now reinstated level crossing when the line beyond was closed. The (old) station is in preservation.

I'm tempted to offer Dartmouth: the "platform" is a pontoon which goes up and down with every tide! It must have moved further than all the other stations put together since it was built in 1864...

Sudbury and Sherringham were both terminii where the line was cut back. Loughton was rebuilt to the side of the original to extend the line northwards.

I recall reading as a boy that the original temporary ECR terminus at Romford was slightly to the west of the current station but I can't find anything on line to confirm my memory.

I wasn't expecting that many. I should have thought of Saltburn (several curries there over the years and a few trips by train) and Windermere (I often shop in Booths!).

Stourbridge Town in 1979, and then again in 1994. Cradley Heath has partly migrated - it used to be staggered either side of a level crossing, but since 1984 has been entirely on the one side.

The station at Merthyr Tydfil was moved further back when the line was cut back in in order to build a Tesco in 1996.
Abercynon used to have a station on both the Aberdare and Merthyr routes but a new one was built south of the junction dispensing with the others.

Irlam? Moved sideways and up in 1890's. Someone decided to straighten the River Irwell and turn it into the Ship Canal.

Havant, in Hampshire, when the station was rebuilt for electrification in the 1930's the old station was to the east of North Street/Leigh Road level crossing which was closed at the same time

Both stations in Bedford have been moved a short distance from their original sites. St Johns was moved to allow services to continue to Midland, Midland itself was moved slightly north when modernised.

Fairfield, Manchester about 1900 by the GCR, moved from Station Road(!) to Booth Road, where CME JG Robinson lived,he of 8k,later O4, fame.
