Trivia - mainline stations with through lines with no platform faces

No, four lines and four platforms if I recall correctly, though the main line platforms are not used much (if at all) normally. Didcot may not have been mentioned and Banbury has a goods loop on the east side by the sorting office. Iver had a through line, not sure if it is still there.

Yes the Iver through line is still in use - its fully signalled and electrified and I think its sometimes used by trains for Acton Yard/Hansons needing to recess (same as the more regular one at West Drayton and Hansons loop by Airport Junction) to allow passenger trains to pass.

Pilning has two lines (down main and down loop) without an operational platform.

And is there still a run round loop at Cambridge North not adjacent to any platform?

And have we had Lincoln yet?

Think the Up Barrow Hill line skirts past Chesterfield station, without there being an adjacent platform edge.

Believe there is also a through road at Wakefield Kirkgate with no platform face.

Concur with @noddingdonkey that the Up Leeds line passes through Church Fenton station, but with nowhere to board/alight. (Platform 3 there is immediately adjacent to the Up Passenger Loop).

Yes Cricklewood has the track on the east side. West Hampstead is four tracks four platforms plus a separate set of fast tracks. Similarly for Kentish Town.

Re Harringay & Hornsey stations there's also a set of fast slow lines in addition to the fast tracks which means both fast expresses and fast locals pass the platforms without stopping. In other words two non platform tracks in both directions.

Ally Pally only has one proper fast non platform track plus a loop from Bounds Green depot. The other fast track still has a platform but its fenced off.

Finsbury Park also has a down loop for empty stock passenger trains or freight.

Although no longer in existence, Havant use to have two through lines in-between the platform lines. I can remember them existing in the noughties but not any more.

Yes I meant west side! Kentish Town, West Hampstead, Cricklewood and Hendon (which I don't think has been mentioned) are all on the west side.

The new Brent Cross West station when it opens later in 2022 will also have fast non platform tracks on the west side.
