I'd say Barnetby-Scunthorpe.

Or even Doncaster-York, I was surprised how little time it takes to get to York when travelling on an electric Intercity 225, and I remember as I was leaving the train in York, a bunch of teenagers were laughing about it being so easy to dodge the fare as in the 20 minutes it took to get to York, nobody came to check tickets. <(
In my experience as a passenger, relatively few passengers travel Barnetby - Scunthorpe and it is a near guaranteed grip, so little evasion.

Donny - York is a decent shout, gripping is rare northbound on LNER, about a 50% chance southbound. Always seem to be a few being chinged up. No idea about Cross Country or EMT.

How much revenue is estimated as being lost over the whole system?
Nowhere near as much as is gained by overcharging people* though two wrongs don't make a right, of course!

(* compared to the cheapest available valid ticket or combination of tickets)
It's a big problem in the mornings between half 8-9 when there can be queues of people buying tickets.
You may want to record observations of how long the queueing time can be on occasions and write to the company if this exceeds the times stated in their charter. Ask them how early people should arrive to buy/collect tickets and ask them what people should do if this time is exceeded. Create a new thread here (don't post it in a random one about something else) if you get a poor response or if the queuing times continue to be a big concern.
One that really winds me up is when they're putting in the codes for pre orded tickets to London. One guy was actually amazed when I inform him you could just do at New Street where there are many more TMs....
If the journey is from Sutton Coldfield to London the tickets should be collected at Sutton Coldfield prior to taking the first train on the journey.
Anyway if I've got a tight connection at New Street I just hop on rather than to queue tbh and then get the ticket onboard. Can be tending not to bother though considering New Street becomes gateless from 10am most mornings....
You could be liable to be issued a Penalty Fare, though the company may also be in breach of their franchise agreement and penalty fare rules depending on the length of queuing times.

I'm not sure what this has got to do with worst lines for fare evasion though. Please create a new thread (or use an existing one, if there is one) if you wish to discuss any matter not relating to fare evasion.

When I've travelled to Grimsby or Cleethorpes, it's often been the case that the ticket checks have been skipped between Scunthorpe and Barnetby, then the ticket checks start once the train is between Barnetby and Grimsby.
