Premium service with oldest buses, in the fleet.I would certainly say 'not very' during the £2 fare cap as it has lost its title as a premium service which it used to have.

Give the engine a good thrash... Surely, most unlikely. I mean, they wouldn't, would they?Could it actually of been 492 or a mistrack? Looks like 81 took over the diagram after. If it was acatually 492, for saying its nickname is "slowlo" it actually looks like its kept to time quite well!
It was an early shift so i doubt many passengers that early so it could of beenGive the engine a good thrash... Surely, most unlikely. I mean, they wouldn't, would they?![]()
It could've possibly ran on it, considering it was only 6 in the morning and not many people would've been onboard, however trentbarton seems to make a good effort to not allocate Solos on the Red Arrow because of the obvious capacity comparison.Give the engine a good thrash... As well as passenger comfort I'm fairly surerentbarton seems to make a good effort to not allocate Solos on the Red Arrow because of the obvious capacity comparison.
Yes, but at that time of the day, maybe the option is the nearest busIt could've possibly ran on it, considering it was only 6 in the morning and not many people would've been onboard, however trentbarton seems to make a good effort to not allocate Solos on the Red Arrow because of the obvious capacity comparison.
My bad for not wording it correctly. They seem to run okay at 50mph but at 2000rpm they do make a good racket and I can't imagine it'll do good for fuel consumption (and dont get me started on the stop-start nonsense), whereas a Volvo would sit comfortably at that speed without sounding like the engine will fall out!ADLs struggle with speed? I was driving between Spondon and Kirk Hallam one day last week, at a nice steady 50mph and an Ilkeston Flyer MMC caught me up, and from a standing start. I wonder how well they are keeping to timetable?

Yes, Mango painted 328 entered service yesterday. Here it is on the Ilkeston Flyer today. My picture. The first of the mango E200 MMC's in the order has entered service.
328 - YY24 GZX allocated to Langley Mill
Must mean stop/stop nonsense. I wonder how many starter motors they get throughMy bad for not wording it correctly. Perhaps 498 will be the only bus in the Wellglade fleet with the most recent iteration of the Mango livery.Yes, Mango painted 328 entered service yesterday. Here it is on the Ilkeston Flyer today. My picture.

Well spotted....Maybe 328 will be redonePerhaps 498 will be the only bus in the Wellglade fleet with the most recent iteration of the Mango livery.
214 was to cover for 2 vehicles stuck behind an RTC on the A453Skylink nottingham express seems to be struggling. All the branded solar off as well as 743 and now it looks like 744 has broken down. With 214 (indigo branded), 217 (mango) and 725 (mango) all tracking on there.
If they have, they haven't put in a new license yet. I guess that could be a smart move, leave it to the last minute to prevent Arriva doing anything elseIs there any word on Trentbarton responding to the Arriva X38 changes?
Whatever happens, they still have to give notice of changes. Is it 42 or 56 days, these days?If they have, they haven't put in a new license yet. I guess that could be a smart move, leave it to the last minute to prevent Arriva doing anything else
They seem to want to continue as usual. I'm not sure if they'll change anything as their X38 will have a lopsided timetable now the gentleman's agreement is goneIs there any word on Trentbarton responding to the Arriva X38 changes?
If the Arriva one is every 20 minutes doesn't that mean that it will duplicate the Trentbarton busThey seem to want to continue as usual. I'm not sure if they'll change anything as their X38 will have a lopsided timetable now the gentleman's agreement is gone
Arriva are moving the times 5 minutes ahead of what they are now.If the Arriva one is every 20 minutes doesn't that mean that it will duplicate the Trentbarton bus
70 days to enter consultation with LTA, then 42 days registration, but there are set change dates throughout the year.Whatever happens, they still have to give notice of changes. Is it 42 or 56 days, these days?
Yes, but trentbartons side alone will be lopsided as technically it'll be a different service to Arriva's X38. Until now if you had trentbarton tickets you could get any X38 bus regardless of operator, but now you could be waiting up to an hourIf the Arriva one is every 20 minutes doesn't that mean that it will duplicate the Trentbarton bus
To be fair, depends how fast someone needs to leave, there is still v3 and villager which would be leaving during the waiting period which could probably get you to derby or burton before the wait + travel of getting trents x38.Yes, but trentbartons side alone will be lopsided as technically it'll be a different service to Arriva's X38. So, if TB were to enter into LTA consultation, it would be at least the end of September before any change. Let the market decide.70 days to enter consultation with LTA, then 42 days registration, but there are set change dates throughout the year.
It would be the next change date which I think is October half term. So, if TB were to enter into LTA consultation, it would be at least the end of September before any change. Let the market decide.
Trent and arriva haven't accepted each other day tickets for quite some time - just returns, and some sort of x38 weekly ticket which could only be used on that route. Not sure how many bought the multi operator x38 tickets, maybe more just bought arriva period tickets, or £2 singles? Certainly made it difficult for Trent or arriva to market it as part of their networks.Yes, but trentbartons side alone will be lopsided as technically it'll be a different service to Arriva's X38. Personally I think 3 buses, and a 30 min frequency running via Stretton like the evening buses would be best option. There is change coming with the Trent barton X38 which will happen at the start of September which will see an increase but for now I won't say too much more as I don't want to say that I'm not meant to yet.
You could have two operators, with a common route number, taking different routes, stopping in different places.Personally I think 3 buses, and a 30 min frequency running via Stretton like the evening buses would be best option.
Every 20 minutes would need 4 buses, and is there really enough demand?
That sounds like a recipe for passenger confusion. You could have two operators, with a common route number, taking different routes, stopping in different places.
