Normally it's 6 scenario questions that you prepare to be grilled on.Hey, I have an MMI coming up, does anyone have any insight on what the questions will be or how many there is, any help greatly appreciated.
I’ve got computerised tests in the morning, and then if successful the Mmi I believeQuestions can be found on here.Have you completed stage 2?
Understood thank youNormally it's 6 scenario questions that you prepare to be grilled on.
If you use the forum search function, you will easily find examples of the type of questions asked. I won't tell you exactly what they are on here in the name of fairness for all applicants.
Are the 6 questions always the same or is it like a pool of questions they can pick from?Normally it's 6 scenario questions that you prepare to be grilled on.

I believe the questions are based on the answers to your SJEAre the 6 questions always the same or is it like a pool of questions they can pick from?
Yes you will get a 10-15 mins to read the questions and write a short sentence reply to the 6 questions then lunch break before going to do them. You'll see the questions before hand.I’ve got computerised tests in the morning, and then if successful the Mmi I believe

Application under review email 21st March, then 6th May saying still being considered. If TPE are anything like Scotrail I’m not expecting to hear for a while yetAnyone heard anything for Glasgow? Been radio silence for 3 months
Sorry to hear this mate. Hard luck. But how can you fail bourdon test after reaching stage 2 When was your Stage 2 date???Just had an unsuccessful email this morning, had just taken stage 2 last week and made it through to the MMI. Was a little confused when I asked for feedback, as it stated I had failed on the Bourbon. Although I had passed it on stage 1 and it was good enough to progress I failed against TPE overall benchmark. Very frustrating from my perspective having felt like I did enough in the MMI. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

So you passed to national standard just not TPE’s is that correct?I didn’t understand it at first it doesn’t make sense much. Although my score was good enough to progress at stage 1, once they had reviewed all results against TPE enhanced benchmark (assuming that’s stage 2 tests too) the group bourbon score didn’t meet the higher standard. Which is still difficult to understand right? You either pass or you don’t..
I only was there last Wednesday so didn’t expect such a fast response and I doubt they’ve had feedback on my MMI which leads me to think was that even necessary if I had failed on the tests. A difficult one to process!
Hence why I’ve asked if anyone has had similar experiences as I’ve never seen this mentioned on here before.
Quite possibly, I’ve asked them to clarify but that would make sense! So you passed to national standard just not TPE’s is that correct?
Sorry to hear that you've been told you're unsuccessful, I was under the impression that if you'd been invited to the MMI you've passed all the preceding tests. Did they say that you'd passed your MMI and not your GB test? If it's just the GB test you've failed I guess the silver lining is that's one of the tests you can really practice on and make sure you ace next time.Quite possibly, I’ve asked them to clarify but that would make sense!
If you pass at national standard, it's correct to let you continue as your score is part of a wider process, not just in TPE.As was I it would make a whole lot sense, I’ve asked for a better understanding on the process. I doubt they will have the results for the MMI as we were told 7-10 (last Wednesday) the only feedback I’ve received is that I passed GB at stage 1 but failed it on the overall assessment at stage 2. I just don’t understand why I was kept back for the MMI as some unfortunate applicants were sent home after the tests and didn’t get the same opportunity. You’d think if I had failed I would have fallen into the same category as those unfortunate applicants! Disappointing, thanks for the encouraging words.
Is this the first time you've sat anything? Also where did the feedback email come from?Just had an unsuccessful email this morning, had just taken stage 2 last week and made it through to the MMI. In the rail industry this would be my first attempt. The feedback came directly from TPE recruitment. Is this the first time you've sat anything? Also where did the feedback email come from?
If you’ve passed at national standard crucially you’ve not used a life.In the rail industry this would be my first attempt. The feedback came directly from TPE recruitment.
Yep, had the exact same thing happen to me.Just had an unsuccessful email this morning, had just taken stage 2 last week and made it through to the MMI. Was a little confused when I asked for feedback, as it stated I had failed on the Bourbon.
