I would of rang up instead of email.
I would of rang up instead of email.
They put a lot of people through to stage 1 testing last year, I would estimate 200+. Only a small number made it through to stage 2 due to the enhanced pass requirement.
Has anyone who would need to relocate been invited to a telephone interview?
Guys there is some intense competition on this one... I just found out that for York, there is 1 (one) position. Cant be more than 2 or 3 max each for the other depots
Hi buddyI've already passed the OPC, got an email for DM interview this morning; no date as yet, I assume the next email will be after other candidates have gone through assessment.
Hi buddy
How did you let them know you passed the assessment, did you still fill in an application?

I got my email this morn too
Dear Matthew,
We are pleased to advise that you have passed your assessment for the role of Trainee Train Driver.
Should you be shortlisted, the next stage of the process will be an interview for which you will be contacted by email in due course to confirm the details.
That is worded differently to the one that I received yesterday. There was no mention of short listing, just that I would be contacted with an interview date in due course.
Just got an email to say well done I have passed the assessments, hang fire to see if I get shortlisted for interview. Interesting because I have passed the tests privately with OPC (never with FTPE) but never knew my score (as OPC will not tell you), and I thought FTPE had enhanced pass marks, and even extra tests beyond the national standard ones.
I dont know if this means they have actually checked my tests with OPC or not, or if they will check my scores at a later date, maybe find my scores are below their standard or even that I have missing tests and therefore not progress me.
I have passed: TRP1, TRP2, Bordon, TEA-Occ, WAFV, 2HAND, ATAVT and MMI and put this on my application.
Anyone know how it works with FTPE, can give me an insight?

I was under the impression that Transpennine used the enhanced level. There did used to be a Driver Fault Finding Test but they might have ditched that with the new testing regime in 2013. I would never be sure personally because I have never got past the telephone interview.
